I have 2 long haired cats who are skittish with loud noises and shedding like crazy. These clippers were quiet enough that they would lay on their sides and let me cut their hair. I purposely gave them a kittyhawk.Highly recommend for owners with skittish animals. Only problem is that I found it hard to get an even cut. I was doing it on my own and although the cats were mostly cooperative, hard to keep them from moving while keeping their skin taut and the clipper in your other hand. Another set of hands would probably resolve uneven cut.Easy to use and box can be used for storing. Battery is great. Used a couple of times to trim their bums and then about 45 minutes x 2. There is still 75% battery left.

I have a long hair cat with cerebellar hyperplasia. Sometimes she needs help with grooming. It took her a few tries to get used to the clippers. Now she will tolerate a couple minutes of trimming. They work very well.

Started working well and quietly but after one use. The sound of the clippers got louder. Overall does the job!

Love this tool. It's very easy to use and my cat actually didn't mind it at all. He was strutting his stuff after we were done.
