I read all the reviews and they were mixed. I had an outside drain for my downspout and my sump pump and I couldn't find the exit so the drain kept backing up and endangering flooding my basement. I tried a fish, a small drain rooter and when that all didn't work I bought a better machine from Harbor Freight which broke trying to retract the line...they did refund my money. After much searching I opted for this machine. The foot peddle worked as advertised (some peeps had trouble with it) and I put the machine to work. Manual retracted with no issues. After changing the attachment (it comes with several adapters) it finally punched thru! It was much cheaper to buy this machine than renting one and I get to keep the item! Plus it was clean and a rented one would have been used on waste line...ewwwww. My drain was a rainwater drain....no sewage. It came with a little phillips screw driver and heavy duty gloves to boot! Thank you for a great machine!

Good for very light clogs. I do not recommend this machine for heavier clogs as the chain link tends to kink way to easily rendering the machine useless.

This is one of the best things I could have gotten myself. Love it . The quality and price.

The machine operated as expected. However, the cable snapped on my first attempt to use it. At this point it is useless. I can’t add any of the attachments.

This a great drain cleaner I've used it several times and it has never let me down but always use it with leather gloves never rubber. Rubber gloves can break your hands if it sticks.
