Work as intended
The thing was amazing, it worked flawlessly on my inflatable SUP, sadly I'm returning it only because the scooters that they were meant for, while amazing, did not last near as long as I had hoped and was advertised so it all got returned.

Fun!!
Works great!! I did have to fine tune it ro match my board so it would easily fit by taking a utility knife to the plastic tip of this bracket & give it a small chamfer which took about 20 seconds. Kids & I rode it up & down the lake and had a blast all weekend long.

Defective
The clip was not machined properly. Therefore the plastic “pin” would not release. Super disappointment.

not for single-back fin model
Fit and work as advertised. However, if you dependent on the same fin box to mount the only back fin, be aware that you can only depend on the scooter itself. You won't be able to paddle straight as you don't have the stabilizing fin anymore.

Poorly manufactured and too expensive
I use this mount to attach a scooter to a two-person inflatable kayak. To that end, it works well. However, the product has some fundamental flaws in it's manufacturing and build quality First, as other have noted, the pin that locks the mount into the fin box cannot be removed after being inserted. The problem is that the edge of the pin latch, where it is supposed to be depressed to fit underneath the hole in the fin box, is too large/high. This makes it impossible to depress the latch enough to remove the pin. In order to correct this issue, you must slightly trim down the leading edge of the latch, using a razor blade or similar tool. The second issue that I encountered is that it is very easy to strip the bolts that hold the top bar of the mount in place. The metal for these bolts is poor quality, and they strip almost immediately under any pressure. Without this defect it might be possible to loosen the top bar, and thus work around the issue with the overly large pin latch, without resorting to trimming it. As it is, though, the bolts strip leaving the bar permanently attached at its original position. Given these build quality issues, charging $70 for this mount is borderline robbery, but that seems to be how companies such as Waydoo pad their margins. They sell the basic device for a relatively low price, but then gouge you on the accessories. It's a shame because the scooter is only fully useful with some key accessories. For example, if you want to use a scooter to power a SUP or kayak, you'll need this mount. If you're going to get a pair for snorkeling, then you probably want both a single and double handle, so that you can configure them for use by one or two people. Unfortunately, no third-parties seem to make accessories that fit, so you're stuck paying another 25-50% of the cost of the scooter(s) on necessary accessories.
