Great for pets....and us
This is a great salve for using to help with hot spots, itching and cuts. I use a cotton wool pad or Q-tip to apply it so that I do not risk contamination. It is more of a thick salve than a cream which is important so that it adheres to the animals skin and does not wipe off easily. This week I even tried some of this on myself - and it works very well. I sometimes develop a mysterious itching "hotspot" of my own on a wrist - usually in the winter so its probably a reaction to wool or something. Anyway, this product stops the itching for several hours and seems to be healing the area very quickly. In addition, it smells fabulous. Totally recommend.

This is a WONDER cream!
I originally bought this cream for the cat who had hot spots that were red and not healing because she would lick/bite them. After 3 days of using the cream on her, her hot spots have healed.I read online about people also using the all natural cream on themselves. So I tried it on myself when I got an insect bite. The itch stopped and the bite disappeared. We then tried it on my daughter's eczema on her hands. Instead of using her steroid cream, we did Dr. Harvey's for 3 days. And by the 3rd day, her hands were completely smooth and all signs of eczema were gone.If you plan to use it for humans and pets, just scoop some out and put it in a separate container. Then you have one for the humans and one for the pets.

Such a great healing cream with many uses! A must for dog owners!
I love this healing cream for my dog.. he has sensitive skin, and has a couple of skin irritations and a dry patch that I have been applying this too, and it certainly helps. I have been using it for any years for my dog; it’s great! I sued it use it on his paw pads at nighttime to helpWith the dryness/crack/hyperkeratodis on his paw pads, and it has helped a lot!And since it’s made with naturals products, I don’t have to worry if my pup sneaks a lick after I have applied it. 🐾

Good for golden's hot-spots
I bought this when my golden retriever started getting her hot-spots again. I have used medicated sprays with hydrocortisone like that from Zymox until now.I find that the cream soothes my dog's skin more than any spray ever did. I can't say if it healed it faster or not, but I can definitely say that it soothed her skin to a point where she didn't want to itch the spot again. My only dislike of the product is that it is VERY waxy and hard to rub in. Takes a solid few minutes to really get it worked in and make sure its not just on her fur.

More of a wax than a cream
This product was not exactly as I expected. Since it's made from Shea Butter, I expected it to be a cream (as described). However, like another reviewer described, it's really more of a wax. I have to dig a chunk out with the back of my fingernail, then smooth it between my fingers before putting it on my dog. I gave it 3 stars because it seems to work fairly well. My dog hasn't tried to lick it off, and it would be safe even if she tried. But it hasn't really gotten rid of the rash she has on her tummy. It's made it a bit better, but it's still there. Would not recommend.

Miracle Cream...
Usually I'm lazy to write reviews, but I couldn't not to mention about this "miracle cream". My dog is almost 9 years old, he always had some skin problems on his back for last 2-3 years. He was always VERY uncomfortable when I was hugging or touching his back. I thought he had a back problem and I spent so much money to take him to the different Vets because no one could tell me what was wrong with his back. Then, Of cours I tried few suggested creams but nothing helped. Dr. Harvey's organic cream I found thru Google search, I only put this cream TWICE, only twice and the skin problem is gone after for so many years trying. OMG, this is an A M A Z I N G cream. Millions and endless thanks to Dr. Harvey's really, truly a Muracle Cream :)

Very good, but customers don’t feel respected when these products disappear from the market
The original salve was much better than the cream, but we still loved both products. What is frustrating is that the ointment just disappeared from the market, nothing was available for a long time, then the cream was introduced, and now the same happened to the cream with no information if and when it would be available again.

Contains Tea Tree Oil Which is Toxic to Cats!
Used this on my cat for hot spot on his back. It seemed to heal the surface abrasions relatively quickly, but he would lick at the cream and caused diarrhea. Since the cream helped with the hot spot, I decided to continue use but put a onsie on my cat to keep him from licking until the abrasions healed. His skin has absorbed the oils in the cream, and he is lethargic and drooling shortly after the cream is applied. Once the cream is removed, he becomes his old self again. I do not recommend this product for those that have cats! The tea tree oil in the cream is toxic to cats and the label does not specify how much tea tree oil is used!!
