Creative Stage Air V2 2.0 Portable Bluetooth Sound Bar Speaker - 10 W RMS - Black (Renewed)

I actually got a refurbished one for about $15 a few months ago! It was the larger looking 10 rms version. It has fantastic bass and wonderful clear sound. I couldn't have expected more for that price. I see alot of people expecting it to function as a sound bar for a tv and they are disappointed. Yeah, it's not louder than my regular large screen tv, but it might be for a small screen, I don't know. I am using it for an electric guitar going through a preamp jamming with backing tracks, and for that purpose it is amazing. Too loud, almost, very clear, and very satisfylingly bassy with clarity. Great portable boom box for picnics i'd say (not dance parties!) . For $14 that was a steal and everything is working great, looks and feels brand new. I bought another for $20 just now, hopefully that will work perfectly too.

Sound quality not stunning but OK. A bit of a hassle to keep in aux mode. It always goes through BT pairing first. Could use some mounting holes too.

stop working after 3 months, even really rarely use it ...

Used it as a speaker for my desktop. Worked fine for about a year at 20-30% volume, but now certain sounds make it peak and it shuts off. Fix the quality control and it would be good.

I use this every day in wired mode for conference calls, it's so much richer than the audio on MacBook or Windows laptops. I have it plugged into a USB hub. Almost all the time my Windows laptop recognizes and starts using the speaker right away when I plug in the hub or when the laptop comes out of sleep mode; very rarely do I have to manually turn the power on and choose the source. Occasionally I used this in bluetooth mode, sound quality is nice with a surprising amount of bass, and the built-in battery is handy. The volume control on the right side is convenient. One pet peeve is that when I disconnect my computer it says "Waiting to connect" pretty loudly, so if your office is near your bedroom it could wake someone up, but I'm sure it's something that can be disabled.

A pretty versatile, if not large, soundbar, the Creative Air V2 2.0 can plug into your computer, a sound system, or be used as a Bluetooth speaker. Documentation is pretty poor; my computer required a reboot for Windows to recognize the sound bar. The use of different colored lights on the front to indicate what mode the soundbar is in is a bit irritating, as are the black buttons on the side. It's hard to tell if a button press registers. Default sound out of the box is heavy on the bass, but this can be configured to a less muddy sound after setting it up. Note that you can't plug a wired headphone into the output for listening; this is a bet of a letdown. This is good for a computer speaker, OK as a bluetooth speaker, and lacks enough of a punch to be an effective tv speaker.

What I received doesn’t work. I don’t think it was renewed. Although the unit lights up, the power button on the sound bar does not work. It worked for about an hour via remote but now even that doesn’t work. Requested replacement—if that works, I’ll revise me review. I did notice the only other review had a similar experience as mine, so be mindful of that. I received a replacement that works so far.

Sadly I have to agree with the other reviews. Although I was happy with the sound and build quality, my unit worked intermittently. It produces sound for a couple minutes and then completely cuts out. Tried every connection type - as a passthrough from my console to the TV, direct out via optical, and output via eArc. These all worked for some time, but eventually met the same fate. Will be returning my unit soon.

Funcionando bien hasta el momento, buen sonido para volumen bajo-medio aunque no excelente. Practica al ponerla debajo del monitor sin que estorbe los laterales. Lo único negativo es que tienes que dejar presionado el botón de encendido bastante para apagar o prenderla. Y si la usas para PC de escritorio como yo, de nada te sirve su batería integrada y su conexión bluetooth. Hubiera sido mejor solo conexión USB para interfaz y prendido/apagado automático.

UPDATE 12-02-25 Despues de poco mas de 6 meses el producto empezo a fallar, resulta que Creative creo este producto con obsolescencia programada, al morir la bateria interna incluida la unidad empieza a fallar apagandose cada vez que se reproducen sonidos intensos, pese a estar conectada a una fuente de energía externa, esto porque el cirtuito esta hecho de tal manera que se de energia a la bateria y esta la envie a los altavoces según lo necesiten, pero si la bateria ya no funciona cualquier sonido que requiera mas de 2W de potencia causa un apagón subito, volviendose practicamente inservible a menos que nunca subas el volumen a mas del 30 por ciento, lo peor del caso es que no hay baterias de reemplazo disponibles por ningun lado, por lo que, una vez que la bateria muere te quedas con un bonito pisapapeles, e-waste, yo nunca la utilice con batería y aun así esta paso a mejor vida, y obvio al ser un producto Reacondicionado no hay manera de aplicar la garantía, ni modo, ese es el riesgo al comprar renovado, pero aun así considero es mejor evitar este modelo, porque si lo compras nuevo, y la bateria falla despues de la garantia de 1 año te vas a quedar igual que yo, con un producto inutil. Si quieres una barra de sonido para tu desktop mejor considerar la GS3 la cual es exactamente el mismo producto pero con RGB en lugar de bateria interna (afortunadamente se puede desactivar), por lo que no tiene ese fallo de diseño y en teoria deberia de durar toda una vida. RESEÑÁ ORIGINAL La compré porque el precio era comprable con las marcas genéricas pero está proviene de una compañía que tiene mucha experiencia en el ámbito del sonido en PC desde hace décadas. Los resultados son muy satisfactorios, excelente calidad de sonido, conectividad completa por USB-C, el mismo cable provee energía y envía una señal de audio digital por lo que funciona aunque tu chipset de audio no funcione, también se puede conectar por Bluetooth o por 3.5mm pero no le veo razón de hacerlo si la utilizas como barra de sonido para PC, simplemente el modo USB-C es la mejor opción, aunque siempre es bueno tener opciones.

Llego todo bien, a tiempo y funciona bien

Tiene muy buen audio por su costo, es ideal para la oficina o poner debajo de tu PC gamer si quieres ahorrar.
