I was quite pleased with the quality of the glass l did some comparisons on a Canon L series lens with and without the UV filter and could see no difference in sharpness. The magnetic lens can is great holds well. I also bought their ND filtered and were pleased with them. They use Asahi glass so they are starting with a good base and their coatings seem to work well.

I bought this a couple days before going to a camera shop to pick up a lens and the salesman at the camera store said this was a good UV filter because upon looking at it you could see the blue and green colors which keeps unwanted glares out. Great filter and every lens should at a minimum have a UV filter for lens protection. The cheap, clear ones have an effect on image quality. The magnetic lens cap? I was taken a bit by surprise with this one but find it quite handy and it stays securely in place. A worthy investment.

Had a little accident results in a cracked lens filter/hood (luckily, lens itself is all good) so I was looking for a new protective filter. After reading reviews, I decided to take a chance on this one and it did not disappoint. The filter itself doesn't impact image quality and the magnetic lens cap is very strong, yet easy to remove. You can also still use your lens hood. The quality here is well above it's asking price. The only downside I found is that you cannot stack filters but that's not something I personally do everyday. This filter/lens cap set is top tier!

I purchased a K&F Concepts Nano X magnetic filter package from Kentfaith probably a week or so ago. That package included a 77mm magnetic ring, CPL and two ND filters plus a cap. I liked the filter and magnetic system so much that I bought this UV filter for another lens. I can now switch between lens and filters with ease. I keep this UV on one lens at all times and the magnetic cap is fantastic. Maybe a little difficult to remove for shooting but I’ll get used to it and I would rather in be hard to remove than falling off all the time. The price point is good too which, along with the filters being multi-coated and waterproof - is why I chose K&F over other brands. So far on my test shots I have not seen any color shift but I nearly always shoot at 5000K so it’s very easy to adjust WB in Lightroom or Photoshop. I am using these filters with Nikon Z8, Nikkor X 20mm f/1.8, and Tamron 30-150mm. My next purchase will be a Nano X light pollution filter for astrophotography.

This is by far the best all in one solution to protect your lens, the filter included has threads and then the cap strongly magnetizes to the filter! My front lens was too close to the threads for a pinch lens cap so this was a fantastic solution! The filter is ultra clear almost like nothing is even there! And the cap is metal so I don't have to worry too much about something breaking it, it's nice peace of mind knowing my lens is very protected. I love K&F products! Quality and thought in every design and detail!

The ONLY reason I returned this item was due to the inability to stack additional filters on top of the magnetic filter mount. I would have much referred the magnetic lens cap have a diameter small enough to fit inside the inner threads. Since I do a lot of outdoor photography, being able to add a polarizer or ND filter on the fly is a must. The product itself is solid quality and value (see below), only taking off one star since the only fault was not meeting my needs. Once I clean a lens, I leave the UV filter mounted all the time for extra protection. Learned long ago that it is better to sacrifice a $30 filter, than a $500 lens; thankfully it wasn't the hard way. Can't say the same for my friend. Optical clarity on this MC UV filter itself is excellent! My usual go-to for multi-coated filters has been Hoya, however for about $15 less, this UV filter has comparable quality. The anti-reflective coatings render the filter nearly invisible when viewed head-on, as they should. The coating is also very hydro- and oleophobic, I had to make considerable effort to leave a fingerprint! I have no worry about lens flare or reflections when stacking a filter on top of this one. I will be seeking out non-magnetic versions of these threaded caps to replace my pinch style. Seems K&F's idea was to fit their existing lens cap design with a magnet, that slips inside a wider filter to allow for easy on/off. Sadly this just wouldn't work for my needs, but I look forward to checking out some of the other K&F offerings!

This little guy works for my lens and protects it nicely. The magnet keeps the cover on firmly when stored and I have not noticed any major negative effects to my photos. Overall a great value for a decent little filter and lens cover.

I looked at a lot of different magnetic filter systems, but ultimately decided on the K&F filters. It was a great decision. I would have purchased from their new Pro lineup, but they weren't available at the time (at least in magnetic form). I keep one of these UV filters on each of my lenses permanently to protect them, so I attach them via the threads. It then becomes the magnetic base for my other K&F ND and CPL magnetic filters as well as the magnetic lens covers. All of the filters have threads, so they work either way. But when attaching a filter magnetically, the threads serve to keep the magnetically attached filters in place, which is great. Stacking the magnetic filters works perfectly as well, as the magnets are strong enough to keep everything in place and stable. All in all, these were far less expensive and yet more convenient than the other systems I looked at. I highly recommend them.

Die Verarbeitung ist top – der Filter fühlt sich robust und hochwertig an, was man von K&F auch erwartet. Er wird wie gewohnt einfach auf das Objektiv geschraubt, was absolut problemlos funktioniert. Ein besonderes Highlight ist der magnetische Objektivdeckel. Er lässt sich schnell und unkompliziert anbringen, was mir besonders gefällt, wenn es mal schnell gehen muss. Auch ein zusätzlicher Filter kann magnetisch montiert werden, was die Handhabung extrem vereinfacht. So muss man sich nicht mit Schraubsystemen herumschlagen, was bei längeren Foto- oder Video-Sessions definitiv von Vorteil ist. In Sachen Bildqualität hat der Filter ebenfalls überzeugt. Es gibt keinerlei Farbverschiebungen oder Schärfeverluste – das Bild bleibt klar und unverfälscht. Der Filter schützt die Frontlinse zuverlässig vor Beschädigungen, ohne dass man irgendeinen Qualitätseinbußen spürt. Für Fotografen und Videografen, die viel unterwegs sind oder Wert auf eine schnelle und bequeme Handhabung legen, ist dieser Filter definitiv eine Empfehlung. Alles in allem ein solides Produkt, das K&F in gewohnter Qualität abliefert.

I was worried how good the magnets were. I needn't have. These are marvellous and so easy to use.
