Review
Awesome saw. Worked as expected!

IDK what I'm talking about.
I needed a body saw, and spent way too much time comparing the known-quantity IR part with all the clone import parts that were considerably less expensive. In the end, complaints of jamming blades, noise, and vibration pried the money from my hands for the IR tool. I can't say whether it's the *best* option but it's a great tool. Very quiet, very little vibration, and very comfortable to use. I needed it for some work in tight quarters, and it's small and compact enough to go most anywhere. The included blades worked great and seem durable. Could I have gotten the job done for less? Maybe. Do I regret buying a name brand tool that works perfectly? Nope.

Fantastic Air Tool
If I could give it six ****** I would. I don't know if it was just that I tried to use two of these from HF, or what exactly, but when this arrived it was with a huge amount of apprehension that it would just be another HF type dog. I am so happy I was wrong! I couldn't be more worng! This thing works like it's supposed to!! It is just fantastic. I don't know why those cheap clones couldn't get it right, but I have no doubt this is destined to be one of my favorite bodywork tools. I put the coarse blade in it (6 came with it, 2 coarse, 2 medium, and two fine) and let it loose on a piece of 16 gauge scrap steel. I was expecting another HF experience where it behaves more like a butter knife taped to a vibrator that quits the moment it comes in contact with anything. Not so! It cut through steel like that was its destiny. The HF model... I could stop it with my fingers. This one just almost seems unstoppable. The best part is because it's an air tool it blows debris out of the way, it's free of electrical hazard, and it's convenient in my shop (I don't have to look for another outlet). And it's pretty safe. I would really have to work at it to cut myself with it. Can't say enough good about it.

Works great, good quality
Works exactly like I hoped. Much better than my existing cheaper off brand. Some bogging after using a lot and once blade starts to dull. More oil and a fresh blade seems to help. Vibration isn't bad at all and feels pretty ergonomic in the hand.

Must-have Pneumatic for Sheet, A Few Tweaks
I have used a lot of different tools for cutting metal, particularly 16/18ga mild steel 1018, 16ga 304 SS, and 1/8" thick mild. Despite made in china, this is a great quality tool. With a fresh blade, this makes clean work of all of the above. The advantages over a cutting wheel/disc are: -Faster cut -Less heat to material -thinner cut = more material preserved -less burring on the backside = cleaner cut = less grinding/smoothing -saves having to swap a cutting disc, so you can keep a grinding/flap/whip etc. disc in your wheel tool The disadvantages: -slightly more expensive. Abrasives vs bimetals... cutoff wheel will last several times longer than a recip blade, and costs only slightly more. -doesn't seem to allow carbide bits, the fitting slot is too small. -gets eaten for breakfast by anything larger than .125 (1/8"). Don't expect to do more than a few inches of cut per blade after this, YMMV. Of course this varies with TPI, but even lower TPI has trouble with thicker steel. You will be able to do many feet of thinner gauge obviously. -Uses a bit more air cfm than a die grinder or cutoff. Its not much, but I find my compressor runs a bit more with this vs die grinder. *Important note*: the 1/4" NPT female adapter is not completely sealed itself. If you fit it up, it will leak eventually. Get a 3/4" wrench, pull it off and put some teflon tape on those threads, easy fix!!

So this tool works really good but remember it’s not a 7.5 amp sawzall. Good on body panels, won’t cut through a frame unless it’s a subframe for a non structural member, but, that is not what this tool is for in the first place. It’s holding up well..
