This thing is an absolute beast once you get the hang of it. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you figure out the technique — hit straight down first, then pry outward with a slight gap to dig the shovel close to the rim and bead — it works beautifully. Worked for me on a really stubborn tire that wouldn't come off by any of the other DIY methods, like using a jack, which was the reason that I bought it. It was really heavy, much heavier and sturdier than I had expected. It took quite a few whacks going around the rim, but it finally broke the bead. Most of the videos show it working on tires that seem really easy to pop, but if you keep at it, this will work on a tough, low profile tire also.

If you want to break the beads on your tires this is the way to go. It takes a little practice but when you figure out how it works it works great. Would buy again

Brute force bead breaker, works well!

I was pretty sceptical when I made the purchase but it actually works. There is definitely a bit of technique to it but once you figure it out it works really well. Requires alot less effort than other backyard methods I've used.
