I rarely write reviews, but this soap absolutely deserves one. I started using this bar after dealing with severe, non-stop itching in private areas, 24/7, 365, for nearly a year. It was linked to a bacterial issue I had in the past, and finding something gentle enough to use regularly, yet effective enough to help my skin stay calm, was incredibly difficult. This bar has been a game-changer. I now use it daily as part of my routine, in combination with a prescription lotion from dermatology, and the relief has been life-changing. It cleanses without drying, soothes irritation, and has helped me feel human again. I truly hope this company stays in business forever, because I will keep this soap on subscription as long as they make it. One quick note: when I received my first box, I noticed a gray mark on it and thought it was an oil stain or maybe the product had leaked, so I returned it. Later, when my replacement (and all future boxes) arrived with the exact same mark, I realized it’s just part of the packaging design. It’s not a stain, just a stylistic choice they use. So if you notice that, do not worry. The product inside is perfectly clean and fresh. This is genuinely one of the best bars of soap I’ve ever used in my life. If I could give it 100 stars, I would.

All the beauty products out there & wow... This simple bar of soap does wonders. Almost cured my atopic/seborrhoeic Dermatitis. Paired with Sulphur soap, it erased it. This alone certainly reduced it, but immensely helped with sebum filament and made my skin look more healthy, like "glowing" as the beauty products tout. No medicine worked except for a topical steroid for my dermatitis (which isn't good for kong term use); I'm just amazed at how quickly this worked (within a week). I only wash once a day, im sure you could get better results with 2 washes a day. Even if you don't have dermatitis, for a regular beauty routine, I'd highly recommend too.

Products such as this that contain pyrithione (pure-eh-TEA-own) zinc are highly effective at combating the effects of malassezia yeast such as redness and flaky skin. This may appear as dandruff when it affects the scalp but may also show up elsewhere that the yeast thrives (on oily skin). Many products intended to soothe the redness may actually feed the yeast. Everyone has malassezia yeast on their skin but it affects some people greater than others. Try this: wash with this soap and lather all over your face (ears into ear canals and scalp, if needed) and let rest for several minutes. Keep it wet. Rinse off and do NOT apply any other liquids, creams, or gels (not even those that say they treat seborrheic dermatitis and redness). I am a male and don’t use cosmetics but suggest you avoid them until you can experiment. Wash at least in the morning and evening. I used this product and another and had immediate results as in a couple of days my skin was clear (until I got lazy and thought I was “cured”). The condition returned after a while so now I use it and others almost daily. I use a shampoo containing selenium sulfide and wash my hair and face at the same time. Search the web for “how to treat malassezia yeast”.

I have used it before. It's gentle but thorough. It keeps my face blemish free and doesn't upset my Rosacea.

I bought based on the zinc presence, unsure about other therapeutic features. When I showed the box to my dermatologist, she gave a thumb's up, and said that her husband used it, too (!) For me, it does help soothe eczema areas. Note, keeping it in a "traveling" soap dish eventually reduces the bar to a slippery lump. If you can handle the lump, it is still effective, so no loss; just handle carefully. Also soothes tinea cruris, but is not in anyway a "cure".
