I purchased two “Bauducco Panettone with Chocolate Chips” on December 14th, 2024, and unfortunately, both were disappointing. The first one, with an expiration date at the end of February, was noticeably dry—much drier than any Bauducco panettone I’ve had before. The second one, expiring at the end of July, wasn’t dry, but it definitely didn’t taste fresh. Overall, I was expecting the classic soft, moist texture and rich flavor, but these loaves fell short. I love Bauducco’s products, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t buy them online again.

The cake was extremely dry and tough, with a cardboard-like texture. It lacked flavor and freshness, making it very unpleasant to eat.

Moist and delicious

I have ordered these before and was very happy. But this order they were not as moist, I’m not sure why because use by date is 2/24/2025. Was disappointed.

Our family loves Bauduco panettones, but this one was very dry and not as flavorful as expected.
