Very happy. I had to trim a huge hedge...some main branches were three inches thick and it went through them like butter, no issues with torque. It did the job and didn't break despite a very violent all-day session! My only gripe is that foliage gets jammed up behind the drive gear cover. I see that as a point of failure, but you just have to keep a screwdriver/knife handy to periodically remove stuck twigs. If this design were improved, it would be 100% superb.... nevertheless, I'm thrilled. I'll never go back to petrol. Folks say this is heavy, try a petrol engine on your waist and you'll know about heavy!

I ordered this item with a little trepidation given that it's not a "high-street" brand and because I'd previously bought a battery powered hedge trimmer that was nothing short of useless and stopped working after about 30 seconds. I was hoping that this trimmer would be the dogs... And it certainly is! The hedge trimmer is powerful and more than adequate attacking the large hawthorn hedge at the back of our garden. The addition of the chainsaw attachment for those larger bits of branch is a real winner - I was surprised at how quickly and effectively it did the job. I would thoroughly recommend this bit of kit, the only downside is that it is heavy and for someone a lot smaller than me (I'm 6ft 3) it might be difficult to wield this at it's full extent.

Had to cut various things like trees and some weird bush and wow, chainsaw is very smooth. If the chainsaw attachment was shorter / adjustable to be smaller, I would give 6 stars. Didn't really need instructions as whomever designed the parts clearly knew what they are doing, there is like a notch or something on one side when you are plugging in either the chainsaw or hedge trimmer which helps with knowing which way round things go. Apparently it's heavy, I don't know, guess whomever is complaning about the weight hardly lift anything.

Used for 1st time today, really heavy compared to previous hedge cutter, The trigger release button is very small and fiddly and awkward to press when you have proper working gloves on The blades both cut very well mind you but still doesn’t help with weight The chainsaw oil cap doesn’t seal properly and leaks if on its side no rubber O ring to overall poor quality

This is an amazing combination of hedge cutter and chainsaw, and good value. It's excellent, both tools work very well. The hedge cutter is not as powerful as some dedicated machines, but is good enough for 16mm branches and lighter than some of those powerful beasts - in terms of weight, bear in mind that when attached to the extension it feels heavy when held at an angle. The chainsaw is super, runs smoothly and cuts well. The only thing you cannot do is work at close quarters due to the minimum length of the arm, if you hold the machine close, you can't reach the trigger. It comes with one refill of chainsaw oil, so works out of the box. Assembly is straightforward, it took me about 30 minutes to assemble. The chainsaw needs the most attention making sure the teeth face the right way and the tension is correct, with everything secure. I couldn't really understand where to put the shoulder strap, it's a little cumbersome wherever you put it. The power is passed through the arm - when the chainsaw and hedge cutter are attached, they slot into a power connector at the end of the arm.

Instructions could be clearer, but good value used for 30>45 mins used 1/4 tank of oil (good advice when storing ensure that tank is upright as it tends to leak) Contacted hot deals as could not get any electric, guy was very helpful and supportive even talked me through the process (Exemplary customer service 👍) Never used Chainsaw, so advise looking on youtube for fitting chain. Looking from above the point of the block/cutting block should be going towards the tree, the back end is a straight edge check you tube! Hedge trimmer is also good, yes it does feel top heavy when extended but what you expect when the motor is up there! Use the strap so the weight is on your shoulders it is easier. Very happy on first use if change will update.

Although this equipment is very heavy it certainly did the job I bought it for which was cutting thick branches of tall conifers at the back of my garden with the chainsaw attachment. However the hedge trimmer attachment is completely useless, I started using this to trim some more conifers and immediately started clogging up and losing power. I tried oiling the blades to see if that helped but didn’t and had to revert to and older hedge trimmer from the garage to finish the job. If you are looking to buy this product for the chainsaw then I highly recommend it, if it for the hedge trimmer don’t bother !

The edge trimmer can only be used for a short period as it is very heavy. it does the intended job but when extended its awarkward due to heavy unbalanced weight It is worse with the chainsaw attachment . I can understand why the designer has selected this design criteria .it's well made with robust design.
