Daughter is very happy with this advent calendar. The Barbie is good quality with moving limbs, doors open easily and numbers easy to find. It was a good price for what we received.

I will update this accordingly but on the face of it a really great advent calendar. Opened today and door number 1 had a lovely surprise. Can really do anything with it on day one unless you already have a barbie (my child does). She will enjoy it more once she can open the door with it in! Its a sturdy box. The doors are perforated and intact on delivery. Doesn't tear around the surrounding area which happened on a different one which essentially shows the surprises in the adjacent doors. However this is sturdy. The box has a lovely feel to it and the curved end makes it stand out. Great so far. 5 year old is excited to open the next day! Will update review accordingly. So far I would buy again and I would recommend. To note I got this when it had a reduced price slightly. Ill make a judgement later depending on items on its value at what I paid vs full price. It was still more than some but so far I am happy and more importantly my 5 year old is.

Brilliant my daughter loved dressing her doll in the different accessories she got each day

I'll be honest, when I saw the price of this calander, I almost didn't buy it. My daughter had really wanted so I had mum guilt, then felt stupid for paying nearly £40.00 for an advent calender. Well, I have to admit, it's one of the best I've ever bought. The doll itself is great quality and all the items are lovely and complement the doll perfectly. My only gripe is that one of the hoof gloves was missing but, it may turn up in one of the last two windows. I would happily pay this again for the quality and my daughters reaction to it.

My daughter loves her calendar. A bit see through so she can pick at her next windows but still good value for money.

Daughter is 10yo, and a big Barbie fan. I've never bought these types of advent calendars before, always thought they were too expensive, but as it's maybe the last time she'll 'believe' I thought I'd give them a try. I was impressed with this one, day 1 is the Barbie doll, the rest are pretty much what you can see on the front of the box; the black skirt which doubles as a dress is nice, daughter loves the silver trousers and jacket, nice shoes, handbags, etc. Expensive for what it is, but then again it's quite good quality, and the doll would be £10 on its own, so when you add it all up it's not that bad. Made my daughter very happy every morning, and it was nice to see her getting excited about what might be behind all of the windows.

Brilliant, high quality toys! The Barbie is articulated at the elbows and knees as well as hips and shoulders so far more poseable than some. Some of the accessories are very small (think two sets of earrings) so some might want to think about whether that's appropriate for their child, depending on their age. Also - it's really hard to get some of the toys out of the calendar! They are held fast by the plastic housing, and took me a while to pry out. Your child might need help. Overall though, my 3 year old daughter has loved this calendar and is enjoying playing with the doll!

Great advent calendar! Fantastic value, nice and good quality doll and accessories. Well worth the price.
