I'm a huge fan of thr Poly Voyager Focus 2 headsets and have bought several over the last 4 years for work/car travel. Their noise canelling is amazing and the sound is crystal clear, for both the speaker and the listener, but after spending 10+ hours a day wearing them for years, my ears are ready for some over-the-ear style headphones. I've tried several, including the $400 versions by other brands, but for remote work, the sound was terrible and the nosie cancelling did not work well for Zoom-type meetings in noisy environments. I'm elated to say that as nervous andnai was about straying from the Polycom Voyager Focus 2 model, these have been awesome and my ears are soooooooo happy!!!! I really miss the extended mic, but it's been a good trade off and the mute button is easily reached so, all in all, this is a worthy successor and I'll be keeping them.

For a headset as expensive as this, it has so many problems!! I even got a warranty replacement and the issues are still present. I do not recommend this headset AT ALL. 1. Sidetone is unreliable and often not working, so if you're on a call you regularly can't hear yourself! 2. If you have two of these, playback from one happens on the other! There is no separation between them. Not acceptable for an office environment. Security anyone? In my opinion, both of these issues are software/firmware issues and COULD BE FIXED. But even after updates the issues persist. I am past the return date by now, so I'm stuck with this inadequate headset.

Liked these but they were not comfortable. For this price I would want something much easier resting over my ears.

Best MS Teams Office headset. Super comfy and enjoy the crystal clear calls and video meetings.

It is absolutely the strangest thing. The carbon fiber frame feels durable, but then the leather-like earcups feel like something off a 30-dollar "disposable" headset. I do think they fit my larger head than the Poly Voyager 8200s, which are directly replacing due to a failing battery. The battery life is much better than their predecessors, giving me a couple of days' charge on Teams calls and meetings without issues. The mics are a vast improvement to the 8200s, with spoken words being crisper and much clearer, but they still suffer from the "boomless mic" design and pick up a bit more of the ambient noise than I would care for in an office headset. If I work from home and my dog starts barking, it's going to get picked up in the outbound audio. The unit I received was broken on arrival; there appeared to be something rattling in the left earcup that I could not identify, but HP support was quick to replace the faulty unit with a replacement in a matter of hours. Poly and HPs support teams continue to impress, when the hardware can sometimes leave you wanting something a bit more 'premium' for the price.

Happy with the product but the support not so much. Product had a defect in the plastic on the left side earpiece and it broke while putting on poly refused to replace and also has no capability of paying for repairs in other words if anything on this device breaks, you’re out of luck because you cannot even pay to have it repaired. A product that cost $300 should have a capability of being repaired by the manufacturer. If I could, I will give this zero stars due to their policy.

Nice hardware ruined by bad software. Sidetone you can't turn off. NC and isolation are good but HP refuses to update the app. What a shame.

Ich habe dieses als Ersatz vom billigeren Modell von Poly, das mir am Ohren unglaublich wehgetan hat. Damit bleibt mein Ohr nicht zerdrückt und im Allgemeinen das Traggefühl ist nicht so schlecht. Ich benutze Sony WH 1000XM-3 und mag andere Headphones wie Quietcomfort oder Airpods Max. Für Business Zweck wahrscheinlich dieses ist noch gäging mit Hardware wie Window Laptop. Zwei Sterne Abzug kommt dann aus PLV.

I didnt buy it on amazon i bought it direct from HP, the mics work great in a quiet room, not so much in a loud environment (like an office) and after about 4 months it stopped working completely and then they refused to refund or replace my unit. Will never buy from poly or hp if I can avoid it, from such a large company I expect better when I buy the best they have to offer.
