This does a great job of supporting a book, and it folds so flat that it takes up almost no room on my bookcase. But unlike book stands made of metal, it is colorful enough that it is easy to find when I need it.

I am not giving a 5 star due to the fact that if you’re reading a thick book it does not hold very well. If the book is not very thick it works just like it should. I like to bing read books so it helped my hands not hurt so bad while reading for hours at a time.

Real good product for holding recipes, small books or magazines. Base is too thin for thick textbooks. For the price it does a great job!
