I think the only thing I have thought of that isn’t included is the controversy over the apocrypha, but lots of resources out there for that. This is the perfect addition to your reading that allows you to use firm evidence in everything from scriptural studies to history to archeology to other sciences and much more. A great compliment to your Bible study -

Norman Geisler has written a book that catalogs verified biblical information, along with people and subjects that attack God's Word, but I guess that's what Apologetics is all about. It's a treasure of knowledge. I've only began reading it, but so far I truly appreciate it'scontents. I spend about 30 minutes each morning reading and have learned a number of things. Having complete confidence in God's Word being the only Word of God, it just strengthens my faith that I serve a God whose word stands the test of time and has an answer to all It's critics. Especially when I think of His Son. There is no one one more; loving, holy and glorious than the Lord Jesus Christ! And the only one capable of redeeming man, because He is God the Son! I thank Him for His merciful grace that; convicted my heart, saved my soul and made me one of His own. When you read any material from that foundation of faith, you realize that without Christ, life would not be worth living.

Great content for readers interested in defending the Christian apologetic perspectives.

Awesome for really quick reference on many topics. This is great for getting up to speed on a topic quickly. Basically, think of this book as 1 to 3 page summaries of apologetics topics. He also gives a bibliography right after each topic so if you want to dig deeper you know instantly where to go. I also wanted to mention that when i say these are summaries i am taking about length. As far as the quality of the content goes you would be hard pressed to find better. Obviously, if you know anything about the author, he comes down on the more conservative side of nearly every topic. However, when we are dealing with intellectually honest individuals that is what you would expect.

É um livro sensacional com muita informação apologética.

The author presents the beliefs of a roll call of great Christian thinkers and skeptics. His evaluation of the beliefs presented are most interesting. It is an excellent reference text for a libary. This book is recommended for those believers who would like to develop a greater understanding of apologetics. I did find some of the explanations a little too detailed and therefore gave the book a four star rather than a five star rating.

Excellent. Bought paperback, but for these kind of format hardcover is preferable and almost necessary.

I used this as a reference for teaching Christian apologetics at the college level. It is very thorough and Geisler's explanations are clear, as always. It goes deep and gives good back-ground material.

Já tenho este livro também em português, uma edição anterior. É um livro muito completo, com vários artigos úteis na área de apologética. Seria ainda melhor se em versões em português incluísse verbetes peculiares ao meio religioso brasileiro, pois a versão em inglês, americana, tem suas próprias adequações locais. Mas nem por isso deixa de ser menos recomendável.
