This Star Wars Villainous expansion offers three new villains each with their own unique mechanics. They offer great new variety for gameplay in comparison to the base set, and they are the most colorful characters (literally) from the Star Wars Villainous line thus far. I’ve got the complete collection, and this is my favorite of the Star Wars boxes. Definitely recommend if you’re getting into Villainous!

A real mando nerd loved it

I rather enjoy the "Star Wars: Villainous" games. It's fun--and different--playing as a bad guy rather than a hero. Each character plays uniquely, which make the game more interesting and replayable. It's a bit thinky and players are rewarded by spending the time to learn how each character's deck of cards works. The Ravensburger products are well made and the box has its own insert making for each storage and organization. This box contains three characters. The most well-known, Boba Fett, is a bit of challenge to play, since he upturns some of the basic rules of the game. The lesser known Seventh Sister and Cad Bane are rooted to animation rather than the films. All three have an objective set that largely focuses on taking out heroes, but each does so in a different way. There are some clever, if more advanced, game ideas in this box. Should you buy this "Scum and Villainy" release? That depends. While it's possible to play "Villainous" with just this box, groups might find just three characters a bit limiting. If you are new to the game, I would definitely suggest getting the "Star Wars Villainous: Power of The Dark Side" release instead It's only a few dollars more, and has five characters, with a greater variety of playing styles. However, if you have played the original set and like it, I think this is a very good purchase, as it will expand your roster of possible characters.
