Belly Bandit Extender - Postpartum Belly Band Extender for Belly Bandit Postpartum Belly Wrap (Natural, 9 inch)

I bought this about 4-5 days post c section because I wanted to see how quickly my stomach shrunk. I got a binder from the hospital, so I wore that for a few days. Based on my measurements, I got a small. And when I got the small, it was clear they love to make their smalls really small. I needed an extender- so I ordered that too. Normally, I am a size 4 in jeans/pants- and I have been lucky that my stomach went back to normal (minus some residual c section swelling above the incision)- so this binder was not really needed. Although I wore it often and still wear it when working out. Overall- if you are smaller and don’t usually carry weight in your stomach area, you may be surprised at how you heal post delivery. I’d get a binder from the hospital first, then order from Amazon if you really need a belly bandit. I’m not super impressed and for the cost, I wish I had stuck with the one from the hospital. Plus, you get suckered into buying the extender because their sizing is off.

I had purchased a bamboo Belly Bandit a few kids ago. I purchased it on the small side and found that it didn’t fit right after delivery. I really didn’t want to buy a new one in a bigger size. Then I found this! It doesn’t extend the size of the Belly Bandit significantly. It gives you a couple inches. However, if you already have a Belly Bandit and find it *almost* fitting, this handy little addition will save you from having to buy another wrap. It is mostly a felted feel to the whole panel— not the soft bamboo on the bamboo Belly Bandit. And it can be tricky to get it adjusted just right. But I’m pretty happy with it.

It works as intended. Was glad I didn’t have to purchase another wrap.

The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because this is not made for short people. I'm 5'2 & it bunches up and is extremely uncomfortable when sitting. I have a short torso so it can't be moved up any further to prevent this. Would be great if they offered a shorter height option for us tiny women. While standing its fine.

The Velcro is wider than the band it attaches to, so the rough part of the Velcro digs into my skin. Good concept, poor design
