Victorinox Universal Peeler With Pendulum Blade, Serrated Edge, Stainless Steel, Swiss Made, Green

Useful, sharp serrated edge, works well. Seems well made. Makes peeling easy. Only criticism, and this applies to all peelers with a moving blade (as opposed to a rigid fixed blade) is it's quite fiddly to wash up by hand (in a basin with a sponge) as the blade moves around. If you use a dishwasher to do your washing up I guess you'll never notice this.

A good peeler should be sharp, should it not? Well this defiantly is sharp and one does have to take some care not to catch ones fingers. But surely that is the case for any peeler. I purchased this as our old goodgrip peeler has become ineffective. Mind you it was never very good. We have a Victorinox left handed peeler (I am left handed) but my wife (right handed does not like it). It is a pull up towards you (if that makes sense) where this style I would describe as movement is side to side. My wife love it and has stopped taking chunks out of her fingers. She says it is more versatile than other peelers she has tried, due to the created edge. Able to peel veg and fruits with ease that you would usually struggle with such a Kiwi fruit. It get a big thumbs up form us.

Best peeler ever, minimal food waste

We got this as we already had one but were in need of a second one. We tried other types but this is still the best!

The saw tooth edge of this peeler actually makes some things much harder to peel, most hard fruits or veg like potatoes are pretty tough going. Also much more likely to catch fingers doing washing up. Slightly disappointed given the rave reviews.

All my life I've been using old and rusty soviet peelers. Now I discovered that a peeler can be sharp and easy to use, and I can't deny, I'm impressed.

I would never buy a kitchen knife or other Kitchen Utensil than Victorinox Love using it !!!
