So I needed to replace the battery for my Macbook Pro A2338 M1 2020 version laptop after replacement of the screen. Thought that I only needed the screen until finishing repair and found that my battery drained while down. Battery arrived quickly and in great condition. Watched a youtube video on how to remove and install battery and was able to do so in a couple hours. turned on computer and battery came at 34 percent but did show charging when ac adapter plugged in. Charged to full capacity and has been working great so far with keeping a good battery charge when unplugged for hours. Would recommend for original replacement.

This worked great in my 2020 M1 13in Macbook Pro. came with around 60% charge, the included cloth was useful. The included adhesive stuck right over the OEM stuff, because who cares. I did not touch the included screw drivers, but i'm sure they're fine enough. The pry tools were actually decent. Overall, pretty good kit. The instillation was easy enough, as i'm nearing 10 years of repairing consumer electronics for money, but this might be a bit more challenging than the average person can or should take on. Be prepared by having 90% alchohol, and the included instructions were actually really good!

In the first month or so the battery seemed to function. Then everything went downhill. The laptop worked very slow when not plugged in. When plugged in it heated up to a degree regularly it'd shut down if I didnt raise it from the desk. When it went to sleep, it didnt wake up easily. On battery power, the operation was extremely sluggish. Even though the system didnt indicate any issues with battery. For some time I assumed the laptop had some other problems. Fortunately a friend had his old "original" battery to throw away, I connected it for a test - yes it had very short battery duration, but laptop didnt overheat, its operation was fast as in old days Basically this was a months long waste of money.

The battery replacement wasn't terrible. The taking the laptop apart it's kind of complex but its nothing crazy. I actually managed to remove the oem battery without having to take the track pad out, just take your time and you'll be able too. Also the tools that come included are perfect and it's everything you need for this job Only reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because the first battery I received was bad and did not work, once the new one came in it worked flawlessly

I put this in a MacBook Pro that was shutting off without warning with very limited battery life. It has solved that problem, and the charge seems to hold pretty well. As for installation, three tips: 1) use the rubbing alcohol to dissolve the adhesive under the battery. I didn't do this and it was very difficult to remove the battery. 2) DO NOT puncture the battery you are removing. I did this and it started smoking and hissing. Since it was still attached to the laptop it's not like you want to douse it with water or a fire extinguisher. So only use the plastic pry tools and take your time. 3) Watch some videos to see how to disconnect and reconnect the wiring before giving this a go.

I was intimidated at first but this was actually a very easy install. Be prepared to go very slow. Took my about 45 min as I wanted to make sure I didn't break anything. Would highly recommend doing this vs. raking to Apple to get it done for $300.

Battery is well made and good quality. The adhesive needs some work though, I had to add more adhesive to make it stick better, but still very pleased with battery..

I installed this Egoway A1713 battery in a 2020 MacBook Pro 13" eight weeks ago and it's performing perfectly. The main determining factor of a laptop battery's quality isn't how well it performs new out of the box, though, but rather how well it maintains that performance over time. If this battery suffers from any dip in performance over the coming year, I'll amend this review accordingly. So far, however, so good. The battery comes boxed with the necessary installation tools. This saves time, as it means you don't have to root around in your PC tool kit looking for the right screwdrivers for the job. Prior to replacing the battery in any laptop, it's a good idea to watch some tutorial videos online (make sure the videos show your exact model of laptop and the step-by-step process of removing the old battery then replacing it with a new one). Instructional videos are especially useful for showing the locations of all screws that need to be removed in order to replace a particular battery. I recommend wearing an anti-static wristband when you're working inside any computer, even if all you're doing is replacing a battery. These wristbands are cheap to buy. Wearing one will prevent you from inadvertently frying any of your laptop's internal components with static electricity from your skin. The battery-installation process is swift and easy if you know what you're doing (hence why I recommend viewing some video tutorials before embarking on the task). No issues. A good battery.

J'ai installée cette batterie de remplacement pour mon MacBook Pro et je suis très satisfaite de sa qualité. Livrée avec tous les outils d'installation et la notice détaille. Mais bon honnêtement, je ne suis pas une bricoleuse, je l'ai amenée dans une petite boutique informatique en bas de chez moi pour l'installation. I haven't had the nerve to put this battery in after looking at a you tube video of how deep you have to delve into your MBP to get the battery out. It's quite a feat and a whole lot more complicated than the last time I swapped out a battery on a MBP about 6 years ago! You are going to need to take out the old battery, lift the mother board and unplug whole load of connectors, as well as taking out the trackpad if you want to use rubbing alcohol to loosen the adhesive on the middle battery cells. I have recently brought this laptop (MBP 16" 2019) second hand so thought a new battery might be a good idea. But having delved into the system report it has only done a 180 cycles on the battery and still running at at about 90% capacity so I can ignore it for a little while before giving myself a nervous breakdown delving under the hood... From what I gathered though from watching a YouTube video of someone who knows what they are doing the battery looks very much alike to the one they were putting in. There are adhesive strips preinstalled to stick it down and a plastic spacer to keep all the cells in the right place as you slide it in. You also get all the screwdrivers you need as well as a suction cup to lift off the back cover and some plastic ply tools to lift out the old batteries. The only thing not included is rubbing alcohol which could come in handy to loosen the old adhesive. And as always with a Mac be sure you are buying the right battery as the model number is not always the right way to confirm that its the right one and you are best going off the EMC number (which for this MBP is on the back next to the model number (starting with an A) and the serial number)

As with all MacBook batteries, fitting is fiddly and not recommended for anyone who doesn't know precisely what (s)he's doing in that respect. There are lots of good online video tutorials showing the step-by-step process of removing and replacing MacBook batteries. It's a good idea to watch one of these if you plan to replace a MacBook battery yourself - make sure the video shows your exact model of MacBook, and take note of the position of screws, and the areas where adhesive is used. This will instil confidence while also making you less likely to damage your battery and/or MacBook during the replacement process. I recommend wearing an anti-static wristband when working inside any computer, even if you're just replacing a battery. These wristbands are cheap and they'll prevent you from inadvertently frying any of your device's internal components with static electricity from your skin. The Egoway A2389 outperforms the factory-fitted battery that comes as standard in A2337 MacBooks. Six weeks after installation, this one's going strong and hasn't suffered any loss in efficiency. The measure of any laptop battery's quality isn't so much how well it performs when brand new, but how well it maintains that performance over time. If there's any drop in this particular battery's performance, I'll revise this review accordingly. For now, though, I've no criticisms. Quality kit.
