Avalon 2052-1 Faucet Aerator Water Filter Adapter with Diverter 1/8 Inch to 1/4 Inch Barb, Polished Chrome Finish, 1-Pack

Needed to replace my aerator diverter for my Royal Prestige external filter. Called them to get a replacement adapter, but no luck as the distributor I deal with wont get me one. So I looked for a universal one. Found this guy. Once I received it, I took the old one off, realized it was clamped on, cut the hose, shoved it on this aerator barb, installed it, and turned it on...prayed it wasnt too much pressure to blow the hose off. It stayed!!! One nifty thing I love about it, you pull the plunger to divert the water, knce you are done...you dont even have to push it back in. Just turn off the water and it resets itself!!! My old one had a twist knob...it broke, hence why needing a replacement. Anyhow, you turn it, it stays...this one doesnt. Its a pull knob. Now, if you still want to run the water after getting your filtered water, you can push it back in. But remember, it turns itself off when you shut the water off.

I attached this to my kit sink spigot, added a flexible clear length of tubing, and now I can direct a small stream of water to rinse out my sink and pots.

Much more durable than the cheaper lever-style diverters, and so much more convenient to have the auto shut-off.

A gentle pull on the valve stem switches the water from tap to filter and when you turn off the water it reverts to tap water. With the old lever-type diverter we had we always had to remember to turn it back to tap water position so our elderly parents wouldn't get confused when turning on the tap water.

This was to replace a defective diverter valve that the supplier refuse to replace. It's a nicely made product that is easy to turn on and shuts itself off when the water is turned off much better than the plastic ball valve that came with my water filter

Absolutely like this product Avalon 2052 1/8-1/4 water filter adapter. Works perfectly. Easy peasy installation. Best one I have had water flow from tap good when I switch to water filter no leakage and I don’t have to hold on to the pull tap as I have had to do with others.
