This speaker has some good bass for a Bluetooth party speaker..The bass isn't deep low end bass, it's more like hollow bass, like some high punchy bass.When you crank this thing up,it's sounds bad and distorts and the tremble is very harsh on this when turned up high..Hard to gain or adjust for that on the eq &for such harsh tremble.The mids are way to high ( Vocals) and have to be turned down almost all the way to get some decent sound.I adjusted eq sounds and it was just to hard to dial in the right sound when playing loud.When playing at very low levels, it sounds pretty good.But when you turn it up that's when the problems start.Also my box and speaker came beat up and broken.The speakers leg was broken and it could barley stand up.The box had quite a few holes all ready in it.It's like the speaker got tossed around and I didn't want a replacement thinking they are going to do toss that box too.I just returned it.The lights are awesome though...The mic sounds pretty good too.Updated review*********Customer service reached out to me to address issues and concerns & they sent out a replacement speaker to me.This time the speaker arrived to me with being damaged.The issues I had with the 1st speaker I didn't have with the new replacement speaker.It seems the 1st speaker I had gotten may have been either used or damaged or defective because the sound issues I experienced with the 1st speaker I didn't have with this 2nd replacement speaker.The bass is nice and tight now!!!And I gotta say it's a totally different speaker sound wise...I'm very impressed..Customer service went out of their way to help me and address issues and concerns and they made a wrong right...I was really impressed with how they handled the situation and provided excellent customer service.This alone was outstanding on their part.I never had a company go out of there like they did to me to see a customer happy.This company is not only growing but getting better.And any issues or concerns they do address it and move accordingly to resolve it and fix it and get it right...They are eager to hear customers feedback to help make them even better at what they do and it shows and I couldn't be happier how they made a wrong right.I left up the original review to show how they took it and made a wrong right. I hope this helps to show how if you buy their products and have a issueYou won't have a issue for long, they will go out there to help you and make it right....I felt like I got a totally different speaker the 2nd time around ( the replacement speaker) and it was better then the 1st one...Their customer service is incredible!!!!!!!!

I continue to be impressed with the quality and features of Dolphin speakers. This SP-1070RBT model is no exception. It is really large and produces powerful sound with its dual 10-inch speakers. Like many of these large party speakers, it has wheels to roll it and a built-in, fixed, handle. It has some great RGB effects with 9 different color modes including music sync. It also has a lot of features. There are multiple ports such as Aux, USB A, SD card, Mic, and Guitar. There are also controls for the mic and guitar outputs separate from the main volume. There is a 4-level equalizer built in. It also has an FM radio tuner with extendible, adjustable antenna. I had three problems with the speaker. First and foremost, there was a random wire sticking out of the back. I don't know what it's for or whether it is meant to stick out or if it is a defect. When I roll the speaker, the wire can get tangled in the wheels. The second issue is that the antenna was difficult to pry out of its slot on top of the speaker. Finally, this speaker is not waterproof. Since it is a large party speaker, I plan to use it outdoors for backyard cookouts or possibly at pool parties or outdoor gatherings. This means that it may get wet from rain or water splashing on it. The fact that it isn't waterproof makes it less useful for me..

The media could not be loaded. We bought this for our lakehouse, to enjoy both inside and out. I thought the rated battery life of 7 hours was pretty good, then I tested it: over 10 hours and it was still playing. It depends how loud you turn it up, and how much X-bass you add. The speaker recharges overnight with the included power cable.The radio antenna is on the back, exiting from the woofer. There’s a collapsible antenna on the top with the controls, but that’s just for the wireless microphone- don’t be confused. When the unit is powered off, it reverts to bluetooth mode, whether you had it in FM or aux-input mode. Not a big deal, but lots of appliances now remember their last setting. Still 5 stars in my book, simply because of the great sound and frankly, a much larger speaker than I thought I was ordering.

Dolphin's SP-1070RBT is a big and heavy party speaker. It's about three feet tall and weighs almost 40 lbs. It has tiny wheels and an integrated handle, but it won't roll easily on anything other than a smooth surface.The sound that comes out of this heavy-duty ABS box is really impressive. You can actually feel the bass through the floor!Midrange is abundant and highs are crisp from a top-mounted tweeter. There are various light modes, some respond to the music. You can tailor the sound with a five-band eq or use one of the presets. Input options include Bluetooth, FM radio, USB and SD card reader, guitar, mic and Aux input jacks.With the included remote you can adjust volume, input, track/station and eq from across the room.Power is supplied with the included AC cable. You can also use the built-in rechargeable battery or an external 12-volt power source with the included 12-volt power cable. A wireless mic comes in the package. It uses two AA batteries, not included.Bottom line: At nearly 40 lbs. the Dolphin SP-1070RBT pushes the limits of portability. The reward is getting the kind of deep powerful sound that you would expect from a quality home stereo plus a great light show to boot, recommended.
