Its honestly a really good chair. Very comfortable and should help me keep a great posture. It took me longer than usual to put together because i have never assembled a chair before but the instructions made it pretty easy to assemble. Im not going to rate 4 stars over this but the final armchair i was screwing on had an issue and i couldn't screw it in with both screws but one of them seems to hold it together no problem. I'd buy this chair again especially because it does all the things you want in a desk chair. It can be adjusted to tilt back and has a leg rest you can pull out. Can spin around easy and you can change the height to match the size of the desk.

Pros: Very easy to build - Took me 10 mins, tools are provided, screws very clearly labelled. Decently comfortable - much more comfortable than my previous chair, armrests are a decent height - they are not adjustable, however. All the functions (tilt, height) work well and do lock - I was weary due to some other reviews mentioning that the height doesn't lock. Cons: No lumbar support when tilted back - may need a pillow. Footrest is very short - only really works if you cross your legs. Which isn’t great if you want to kick back and watch a film or have a nap. The back / headrest is maybe a little short for me - I’m 5’ 11”. One screw threaded - but I managed to save it by adding a lot of pressure when turning. — Overall, I think it’s very good value for what you get (£89.99 at the time of writing). Will update if anything breaks in the next few months.

Poor Quality – Multiple Issues Over Time I purchased this chair on April 23, 2024, and I’m writing this review on September 29, 2025. I’ve had it for quite some time now, and I wanted to share all the problems I’ve experienced with it. From the very beginning, this chair was a problem. The decorative buttons on the seat cushion were the first to break. They started coming loose within about four months, and some would dig into my leg and pinch me. Eventually, I had to remove the remaining ones completely. The second issue was the screws. They constantly came loose. At first, I tightened them with hand tools, but after repeated frustration, I used electric tools to fasten them more securely. Even then, the right armrest never stayed tight—it constantly comes loose no matter what I do. The left armrest, on the other hand, was tightened once and has never caused problems. Third, the seat cushion itself went flat very quickly—within a month. For context, I’m not extremely heavy, just slightly overweight, but the cushion wore out faster than the pillows I’ve been using for years. It flattened so much that parts of the cushion started slipping out of place near the front, where the leg rest extends. At this point, I have folded the front part over to provide more cushion support. Finally, the biggest problem—and the reason I decided to write this review—is the gas lift. As of September 21, 2025, it has completely failed. The cylinder broke through the base, pressing against the floor and lifting the wheels slightly off the ground. This makes the chair unstable, and I have to lean to one side just to sit without tilting from one side to the other. (You can see this in the photos I attached.) Honestly, if the gas lift hadn’t failed, I probably wouldn’t have written this review. But combined with all the other issues—broken buttons, loose screws, flattened cushion—it’s clear this chair is not built to last.

I have just redesigned my office set up at home and was looking for a chair that will be comfortable but also match my colour scheme. I ordered a Elfordson Massage Chair first but it was very uncomfortable with thin padding and the massage feature was just vibrations. I have returned it back now. I finally decided to order this Blisswood Chair in the velvet grey. It arrived very quickly and as soon as I opened the chair out of the box, I was already impressed how beautiful and comfortable the chair was going to be after building it. I put it together myself and boom 💥, I finally had a chair that not only looked beautiful but is absolutely a delight to sit on daily. I was unsure of ordering this because of the mixed reviews but it is by far the most stunning chair I have owned and for the price it is a bargain! If you order this chair I recommend the fabric models because they feel luxurious to sit on 👌🏻 Look no further if you need a office chair!

The Chair looks really nice and is ok comfort wise. The problems I have, which have already been highlighted in other reviews are... I have nearly pulled off the cushion buttons on a dozen occasions (they have been poorly attached and it's only a matter of time before they ping off). The arm rests... You will be tightening these constantly as they just wobble about and it doesn't matter how hard you tighten them, they will be wobbly in no time at all. The leg rest... An absolutely pointless attachment. The short distance of the leg pad makes your body resemble a corpse, as you stiffly try to hold up your body weight. I think that if the chair reclined back further then this would eliminate the problem. Definitely not a sturdy chair but maybe that's why it's at the price it is.

I am impressed with this chair, it is exactly what I needed it to be. Fabric is much better than fake leather for long sitting hours, and its like sitting on a portable couch. Some reviews people say it doesnt lock into place but they must not know how to use it because I do not have an issue. It reclines all the way back and locks in place wherever you need it to. The gas spring is a little weak and spongey but I kinda like it as when you sit down it compresses slightly. This is a cheap chair though, and so you do get what you pay for. If you rock back and forth it does wiggle slightly but doesnt bother me, the arms sometimes start to come loose but just keep the allen key with you and give them a quick tighten up now and then itll be fine. Overall, its super comfy, breathable, and I have no complaints for the price!
