Initially I loved Haviana's and have purchased seven pairs over the past three summers, 4 flat pair and 3 wedge. With each pair the back holes that holds that straps in place loosen over time and with every pair I own, the strap eventually popped out of one of the back holes. The force that happens when you lift your foot while walking must cause the grip to loosen around the strap in the hole. I pushed the strap back in, but it is a temporary fix. Inevitably, the strap comes out again. Though I wore my Havianas almost daily in the summer in place of house slippers, I do not wear them year round and I have them on for only 3-4 hours a day. After only 2-3 months of wear, the strap came out of the hole in every pair I've owned. The comfort of Haviana's cannot be beat, but I do not plan to spend $30-35 for a pair of flip flops that last only a season, at best, or 2 months, at worse. I would love it if Havianas would fix the problem.

Definitely run large.
I stuck with the same size I wear in the Havaianas Slim flip-flop. They are slightly bigger, but not so much that I mind it. I'm not sure a size smaller would have worked. Either way, I love the sandals. They're so cute!

Sizing was not as expected but LOVE LOVE the shoe
I'm looking for two things in a flip flop. First, I don't want leather or any other material that stretches over the foot part, because once it stretches out the shoe is worthless. I used to be in love with the Old Navy rubber flip flop that was close in height to this one, but they stopped making them years ago. I ordered these in my usual flip flop size 7. I wear an 8 in closed toe, 7.5 in strappy sandals and a 7 in flip flops. Strange, but that's my feet. They are wide with the big toe not actually being the longest toe, hence the shorter lengths on open toe shoes. I ordered the 37 and they looked very long on me. I returned the 37 and ordered the 36. My foot completely covers the shoe, with no extra room under my foot, but I prefer it that way. I hate when the shoe is longer than my foot, especially in flip flops. The rubber top is a little bit of a tight fit because of the downsizing but nothing that I can't handle.

The conversion of sizing is wrong Brazil size 36 is same as US 7and so onThe correct information is on the Havaianas website if you want to double checktherefore the costumer gets flip flops that are too big
