This works great and was a great value. I use this on the back of my PS5 to hook up to a monitor and has been flawless for the last few months. I was able to plug the USB straight into the back of the PS5 for power and have had zero issues with 4K 60 Hz.

The adapter works great and I would recommend for standard computer use. However, mine is only locked at 1920x1080@60hz when I needed it for my 2560x1440@180hz monitor. It is severely limited for my setup but I still recommend for standard computer use not gaming computer use.

Bought This for my ps5 since my monitor didn’t support 120hz on the display. Flash forward to when it gets here I’m super happy and pumped. Do everything it asks of me. And guess what. IT WONT DO ANYTHING. ITS A PEICE OF JUNK. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO YOU BUY THIS. Garbage. Waste of twenty bucks….

This was a cheap fix to a problem I had with my home office. Normally at work, we use 2 monitors. I now work at home and wanted to add a monitor. All 3 monitors has a display port, but the docking station had 2 display ports and an HDMI. Now, I can work more efficiently without straining my eyesight. It is cheaply priced and easy to use. I plugged it into the HDMI port in the docking station and plugged the display port cable into the adapter and into the monitor.

I got this to help improve my set-up, so I wouldn't have to keep swapping cords. This definitely deserves 5 stars. Worth the money. Also, there is basically zero lag between the two screens.

This gets surprisingly hot but actually does the job, though given the heat I do wonder for how long. It's an active converter thus the requirement for USB power and the heating up. It's fairly short so you'll need USB power close by to your connection.

For my case before i had a nintendo switch that i was unable to connect to a dell monitor that only had displayport/vga. Was able to plug the USB directly into the dock of the switch and it worked perfectly. (of course for this setup you need an extra display-port cable)

My asus rog gl552vw laptop's hdmi port fits the hdmi male part of this product perfectly. It's female DP port fits my DP cable that connects with samsung ultrawide monitor. Earlier I had constant connection issues and flickering issues on my windows 10 laptop with hdmi cables, However using this adapter, my laptop can connect to external screen flawlessly. I don't need multiple hdmi cables anymore and my laptop's lid can stay down while I work on PIP mode, half connects to personal asus and other half connects to work macbook pro.
