Got this to give my mother (dementia) a way to buzz us instead of calling from her cell phone. Has a nice sized GREEN button that she can press that sends out a call signal. This keeps it simple, just press the green button. Lets us answer to let her know we are on the way. And if she remembers to hold the talk button down she can talk back to us. She forgets and just presses it once, then talks, which is why we just impressed on her on to just press the Green button. It does work great for communicating both ways, but I do recommend using a transmit end word "over" if you tend to pause while talking. :) So far the battery life has been decent, I am sure that if you talk a lot, the battery will drain faster. but with the charging tray, you can leave it in the charger all the time if you want to.

I got this for my youngest son. He doesn't have a phone yet, so I got these because he moved downstairs and can't always hear when we call him for dinner or for chores. These have been helpful to relay simple messages back and forth.

These work, BUT the button to call the other one (which makes it ring for long time), is too easily accidentally pressed. We stopped using these because we all kept hitting that button unintentionally, and it won't let you speak while it's calling...or let you stop it.

I bought a total of 6 of these. Thinking that I could connect with all of them as long as they’re on the same channel. But I was wrong. Each of them only connects to the other pair that’s in the box. There’s no instructions on how to sync them all together either. So if you plan on buying multiples. Thinking they all would work with one another. I recommend look else where cause these are not it

Clear sound, small size, solid communication, no static.Charge them every night by putting them in their stand.

I got these so our 6 year old could communicate with us at night instead of coming downstairs 20 times. It created a sense of security for her to know she could push the button if she got scared. It was a huge help in getting her to break from the 100s of excuses to come out of her room instead of going to sleep.

The speakers on these devices are cheap. The sound quality is awful
