Perfect Added more storage space to my fridge

We bought a new house that came with a Whirlpool side by side refrigerator with only 4 shelves in the freezer section. I purchased two more shelves which makes for a more organized, efficient product which Whirlpool should have supplied in the first place. One of my neighbors said they called Whirlpool and the shelves were $200 each! So this is a great price for a great product. Order by the type and model number of your refrigerator.

The upside: Very competitive price. I doubt there are many companies offering these shelves at this price. Great deal. Comes well packaged. Looks like the original. I'm giving it 4 stars because it's a very fair price. The downside: Nowhere close to the quality of OEM. It's much lighter than the shelf that comes with the fridge and feels too delicate. One big problem is that I couldn't get it to notch properly. I don't know if this is the case for all of their shelves or if I just got a bad one, but when I tried sliding it into the notch at the back of the freezer, it wouldn't catch on the notch. Which means it easily slid or glided along the raised edges on the side walls of the freezer that it sits on rather than being "locked" into place like it's supposed to be. Also, because of its relative light weight, when I put a frozen bag of nuggets on the front end of the otherwise empty shelf, the back end lifted up like a seesaw. Definitely not ideal.

Got the part number from Frigidaire website and matched it here. Doublechecked the measurements. It arrived in perfect condition and fit the shelf frame perfectly. Just what we needed at about half the price of OEM when you consider the shipping they charge. We are happy!
