I use it for my bench press detailed program and it allows me to set exact weight I need.

The coating is not fantastic, a bit uneven, a bit going on the bar, but they do the job just fine. Arrived very quickly. I’m pleased.

A number of programs call for fractional plates, as the jumps become too great to tackle from workout to workout. With 0.5kg, I can add to upper and lower (I add 2kg worth) and keep making gains.Many gyms will have 1.25 and 2.5kg plates, but not all, and these can be handy to take alone so you don't have to gather them up before you begin. And for some lifts, you need just a little, not a lot.They arrived neatly finished, clean and scratch free.

Fits a standard olympic bar perfectly. The plates I received weigh 496g, 525g, 533g and 553g. Clearly they aren't ultra precise, but they also aren't £15+ per plate as a certified/calibrated competition 0.5kg plate would be.

Excellent weights. I bought 8 of them because they are so good. I did not weigh them to see if they all weigh the same or similar but they feel the same and doesn't affect me on my lifts. The hole is perfect for olympic bars. The black colour came off a bit from all the throwing around and usage but that is not a problem for me.

Arrived quickly with little packaging. Weighed the pages on my kitchen scales and they weigh;1. 496g2. 508g3. 504g4. 573gI had to tripple check the last one which weighs almost 15% more than it should. I can easily notice the difference between the 4th and the others when picking them up. I'm not too bothered and for the price is why I gave 4 stars but something to look out for if you require greater accuracy.

These do exactly what you want them to do - and mean I can progress more slowly (and deload less frequently) on my lifts. A real help.Only downside is the black covering seems to flake after a bit, but it's no major issue - especially for the price.

Plates aren't BodyRip as stated; they're fakes (see the name moulded into the plate on the photo). Paint is flaking off all the plates and some are over 10% over the stated weight. Not good.
