Great photos, excellent creative recipes, usually have these ingredients in the house already. There's nothing too complicated, so it's a good book for beginners, too. I've given 3 as gifts and saw the excitement in everyone's eyes as they read through it. The cookbook is a big hit and everyone loves the title. His other cookbook titles are really funny too. His style of writing is entertaining and makes cooking fun.

Well done cookbook with excellent instruction and photographs. The recipes are all ones that sound delicious and “doable” by any home cook. Snoop’s writing is fun and creative which has inspired us. We have already enjoyed a couple recipes from Snoop and look forward to creating dishes from his book for many years to come.

I had leafed through this book at B&N and thought I would take a chance when I found that it was on sale through Amazon. I really like the recipes, and was pleased that it seems to be geared towards a beginner-intermediate cook. I had bought another cookbook that was way too advanced and complicated. I would say that the cuisine is elevated cookout/California/Southern cooking. Snoop Dogg, as always, is hilarious. I have tried one recipe, and it was perfect. I look forward to trying more recipes, on my (unsuspecting family and friends). Recommended

A fun cookbook with a surprisingly good mix of actually good, achievable recipes for the average home cook. Nothing pretentious here, very down to earth and amusingly titled. Nice sturdy hardcover, looks good on our bookshelf too.
