Good quality, good value

I've now used one of these 8" files for a number of different jobs over a five+ year period and the tool has lasted fairly well, although it is now ready for replacement. While (in my opinion) not quite matching the standards of Stubs engineering files - once produced in the UK, it's not badly made. So I will be replacing this particular cut with another Stanley 8" of the same type. The handle is certainly quite ergonomic and I'll be removing this for possible future use with another file.

This is very well made , and a useful length. Does the job well.

Arrived quickly and in good condition. Only initial downside was the slightly over zealous shrunk on plastic protective sleeve covering on the teeth of the file. A bit awkward to remove but otherwise usual Stanley quality. Comfortable handle and nice and sharp.
