I use a lot of air drying clay but usually terracotta, grey or white in colour rather than this set of 26 bright colours in individual bags; the consistency of this product is a little different from the aforementioned clays. The box is nicely decorated making it very suitable for gifting as is to a child that like craft, although be warned this is a messy craft so the child's parents might not thank you for the gift! The kit includes not just the bags of clay but also an instruction manual, clay tools (3), 54 play cards (on different themes and with step-by-step instructions) and small Ziplock plastic bags (for unused clay). Priced £9.99 at the time of this Amazon Vine review, this makes a very nice birthday or Christmas gift to give an arty or crafty child. I am pleased with this product and am happy to recommend at this price point.

The clay wasn’t like previous air dry modelling clay we’ve used. It was almost runny and sticky - we could barely get some colours out of their packets (as a previous reviewer mentioned). The kids made the most of a bad situation and played with it in a different way (because any models they made ‘melted’)! So we’re not returning, but beware if you get a dodgy batch, it’ll be messy!

The term 'clay' is a bit misleading, because this is not clay, nor anything like it. It's very lightweight and has the weight and texture of thick marshmallow (but without the stickiness, obviously). I reverted to kindergarten and made a little hat to demonstrate how big each piece of modelling material is. It takes a while to dry, but once it does, it's reasonably tough. Each different colour is sealed in a plastic bag, and of course the drying process starts as soon as the bag is opened - but there's still plenty of time for modelling before that happens - and any unused material can be stored in one of the sealable bags provided. It comes with modelling tools and lots of suggestions for things to make. For your money you get LOTS of the stuff: when you open the box it a comes out to greet you in a colourful explosion. It's clean, has very little smell, doesn't leave any trace - either on whatever surface you use or on your hands. It's good stuff, very reasonably priced. It's also great fun. I had intended to give this to the local charity shop, but I had so much fun making that stupid hat, I think I'm going to keep it for myself.

It is so lightweight and dries fast. Easy for little hands to mold the newest monster or rainbow friend. I love that it is non toxic as the youngest member of the family decided it looked like food.

I wrote this entire review, aside from this inserted mention, before I received those gifts. It was east to see from the onset that this was a quality product, and the addition of two beautiful gifts only served to further solidify my position on that. I highly recommend this clay set for any child eager to explore the world of sculpting and unleash their creativity.

I've never worked with clay before, my sister in llaw, however, has a side hustle making earrings from poly clay, and I've been interested in trying it out myself so I jumped on this set. The tools it comes with aren't great and certainly aren't many, but the color range is awesome and the little baggies it comes with are perfect. The colors are super easy to blend and when you work with the clay or get it really wet it doesn't crumble like some other air dry clay's apparently do- my sil was very impressed with these clays. The image is the first thing I've ever attempted to make and using this set it was pretty easy to learn. I did get another set of tools and I learned to use a soft paintbrush and some water to smooth things out but for a first ever attempt I'm very happy with this result and the next ones I'm currently working on look even better than this! I'm very happy with it and I'm psyched to have accidentally stumbled onto some really good quality clay for a very reasonable price.
