) and will do a nice cup of something boiling hot or cold
There are two sizes to this folding cup. This one is the larger size (about 500ml.) and will do a nice cup of something boiling hot or cold, then you can fold it down and easily pops into your jacket pocket or rucksack. At this low price it's a nice emergency cup. For camping/walking purposes you can stuff two or three large hot chocolate sachets, sugar, tea, coffee or a small juice inside. All you need is the water and a mini cooking stove plus gas and you are set. I have not tested how many times you can fold the cup before it finally breaks. The quality of the plastic in general looks and feels good but is not brilliant, hence the price. Also, I don't know how long it will last before it perishes if stored and occasionally used. I guesstimate a couple of years...but could be longer.

a handy , light, foldable mug
We took these motorcycle camping last weekend. (I bought 2). We also bought the smaller version for drinks. This larger version is good for a bigger cuppa or for eating from. The capacity is 600mls and that is plenty big enough for soup or breakfast cereal. The cup folds in on itself so that it is half the height and the smaller version will fit inside it. Around the inside, there are markings for each 100ml which is very handy for measuring out water to add to dehydrated meals or pasta. As with the smaller version, the hinge part of the cup is just a thinning of the plastic from which the cup is made but seemed strong and I think, as you don't need to be constantly opening and closing them, it will last a good while. You cant hold these over a flame of course ,as far as I can tell ,they aren't silicone so they will melt. .

Very useful piece of equipment.
Great little idea, & so useful. Perfect for keeping in your pack for those odd occasions, or as a spare. So light you hardly know it’s there.

Great cup for camping / hiking
Very impressed with this folding cup. Brought for a Duke of Edinburgh expedition. Can also be used as a bowl for soup / porridge / stew / cereal etc. Because it's plastic, it makes it safer to drink hot liquids from, as you wont burn your lips or hands on any metal. Although it's quite small when folded, when it is unfolded, it holds a huge amount of food or drink. It's also very light in your pack or pocket! I can highly recommend this product.

Y’all gotta get one!
Top idea, virtually no weight and even the large version disappears into a jacket pocket. Measuring marks are a great plus and it’s very stable when full with no finger burn. Just check that what you order is the right size Large/big is about 600mls and standard is 200mls, some of the cups with big in the title are actually small when ordered or the capacity is not clear with some sellers so beware.

Light and Practical
I liked that this fold a cup was delivered the very next day by Royal Mail despite the quoted delivery time being much longer. It took me a few moments to work out how to unfold it, other than that it is good for a large beverage or a fair sized meal. Light and flexible - hence hard to damage. The handle is different yet works. Easy to wash, obviously not for use over a flame. For me it has been a good buy.

Lightweight & Packable. However, not the Wildo product as listed and had horrible taste
The first thing I noticed was that the cup was not Wildo branded which is what I thought I was buying. In fact that is a lie, the first thing I noticed was the smell. It smelt like it had been doused in petrol. That smell I tried to rid of by soaking it but its still not completely gone and when I had a brew on a hill the other day I could taste it still. I happened to be in Go Outdoors at the weekend and picked up a Wildo branded version. Theirs do not smell one bit at all. If you can stand the smell then other than that it is exactly the same as the Wildo branded cup. However I cannot drink coffee that tastes like petrol so I have binned it and bought the proper Wildo one instead which is perfect.
