Saves a lot of wondering if the temperature is why the toddler won't take a bath.
Saves a lot of wondering if the temperature is why the toddler won't take a bath. It's not the temperature, we're just at that fun stage of rejecting everything .The temperature duck has saved a lot of disagreement between me and husband, and once we get her in the bath my little girl loves playing with it3 months of daily use and still on the original battery too!

‘Ducky’ likes cold water swims
Great thermometer which is easy to read in very cold water without my glasses on.

No decimal point for ‘C measurements
The Dreambaby thermometer duck is a useful accompaniment for that sea swimming middle aged woman cliché.Crispy, as he is called, gives a better reading after being forcibly held under water for a couple of minutes which does seem a little cruel but needs must and all that. His temperature readings are similar to the other thermometers we have within the swimming gang, but on average maybe he runs a little bit (1’C) higher.I was disappointed that Crispy’s temperature reading in ‘C does not include a decimal point so I’ve dropped a star for that as the product photos suggested otherwise but all in all, Crispy hasn’t filled with water, broken or escaped from being tied to my tow float after several weeks of sea bobbing, so he’s not doing too badly.

Essential
Essential for us as we can’t seem to detect temperature very well. Our baby seems to like her bath water to be around 25 degrees.

Takes the stress out of getting the temperature right.
These are great, I got one when my baby was born - he's now 9 months and I just bought one as a present for a friend because I can't imagine bathtime without it. Takes all the stress out of getting the temperature right.

Stopped working due to water
Could be a nifty little item. But the battery cover allowed water ingress which stopped the item working after one use! We took off the battery cover and it worked again when it had dried out, but it would appear not to be fit for purpose. So we had to return it.We requested a return and it was picked up on 1st June. Nothing happened until 15th July. Amazon told us the item may have been lost in transit. A bit rubbish that no procedure appears to be in place to ensure this issue is not flagged up. We wasted time having to chase it. Sorted by Amazon.
