Full disclaimer, I’m new to this and haven’t tried regular resin or other brands. This was recommended to me in a video. I’ve found that if you apply this while a cup/bottle is on a turner and do it by hand wearing nitrile gloves, your product will have a clear smooth hard protective surface that is not slippery to grip and just looks and feels amazing. I did have problems with applying to something not rotating on a cup turner however. There were ridges but that’s just due to that method and I think any self leveling resin would have done that. For using this, I put my item on a cup/bottle turner, wear nitrile gloves and dump a line of the resin on my item. I then smooth it out. Next I turn on the rotator for a quarter turn and apply more the same way. Continue until the entire items is covered then let the cup/bottle turner run while you just smooth it by hand. If there is resin on the top or bottom of the cup/bottle where you don’t want it, no problem as it hasn’t cured so just lightly hold a rag against the edge while it rotates and it will wipe clean. I think then going over it with a small butane craft torch is helpful is making sure air bubbles aren’t present. They don’t look obvious I’ve found but you can hear them pop. Don’t apply the flame directly to the resin, just hold it close while it rotates and go over the surface quickly and you may hear them pop. Then I stick a 150 watt UV lamp in front of it for 5-10 min and it’s cured, hard, dry, solid, feels quality, can’t feel vinyl if that’s what you applied. Just does a good job. I may test another brand someday because I’m not sure if this is the cheapest for the quality result but right now I’m focusing on the quality results and the got it with this.

This product is amazing. Large art project required "water" and having never used resin before I was worried I could pull it off. This brand was recommended by a jewelry maker on Instagram and so I purchased both the UV and regular epoxy types. I decided to try the UV after much debate and am so pleasantly surprised. Barely any odor, perfect consistency, crystal clear, dries super fast, multiple coats for greater water depth are no problem, included nozzles make it so easy to get in the nooks and crannies, and almost zero air bubbles. I'm so pleased that I will be purchasing more of this brand for future art projects.

This is my favorite UV Resin! I find it to cure well and hard and not remain sticky as with others I've tried. Bubbles are generally not an issue unless I've stirred it up too fast but it also degasses on its own well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I researched different kinds of UV epoxy and this one stood out among the rest for a few different reasons. The reviews across multiple sites had people singing it's praises. There are less bubbles to contend with. It's less likely to turn yellow, and last but not least, the price was amazing during prime days. Im extremely happy with this purchase. Functionality: Performs as it should Value for money: Excellent value for the money Ease of use: If you can mix, pour, and turn on a lamp, you got this! Dries quickly: Dries in under 4 minutes usually. If it's a little tacky try rubbing alcohol on it. Think of a gel polish that needs wiped off. Thickness: Pour shallow layer and dry the epoxy before adding the next layer, and you can get it as thick as you want. Speed: Under 5 minutes with the correct lamp

I was concerned when I ordered this item because I couldn't find much info or reviews in the resin world but am so happy I ordered. I have had good luck with the product. It is a bit thinner than the others that I have used and flows better into the molds. Releases bubble easily if any and cures hard with no stickiness. Super happy with the product.

Absolutely perfect! I make a lot of resin pieces so I love the larger bottle size. It has less of an odor than before as well! It cures shiny, hard, not sticky and perfectly each time and is always crystal clear. The viscosity is about medium. Perfect for small molds, bezels, thin top coats and jewelry! I have made a lot of bezel earrings using this uv resin and I absolutely love it! I highly recommend to anyone who is just starting out or anyone who is thinking of giving it a try!

Worked great for our project to coat and seal 2" wooden inlay (Intarsia) tokens. To do the 900+ tokens I built a 4 foot long 18" wide conveyor belt that had two 150 watt UV lamps above the belt. The conveyor exposed the resin coated tokens for 4.5 Minutes. a little longer than the recommended 2-4 minutes. They came out cured, but had a sticky feel. wiping them down with alcohol helped a little. What helped a lot was laying them out on board and setting in the sun for several hours. Nice clear, no odor that I ever noticed. nice gloss finish that sealed up on tokens nicely.

Nice and clear, still smells, you need MASK and GLOVES, FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH! I've been having so much fun, I love this resin! Cures in the sun or under a UV lamp. Don't try using it with the door or window open, it will start hardening right away!
