Worthersee Extra Large Steel Mail Box A4 Post Box Letter Box Black Anthracite

This mailbox is excellent - no leaks - which seemed to be the biggest issue with many of the boxes I looked at - and the postman hasn't complained that it is too difficult to put post into it (It happily takes A4 sized post) We did have a problem with the lock but the customer service on this was excellent and fast and we now have a replacement lock which I hadn't expected - brilliant and the other half fitted the replacement very quickly - I recommend this if you are looking for an outside mailbox (though maybe not if you are in a high crime are - I don't think the lock would withstand a concerted effort to break into it - though you could probably change if for a more secure type lock pretty easily) I would definitely use this seller again and

my two dogs would shred any mail they could get their paws on, that is fine if it is junk mail, but not so great when it is important. we decided to get an outside post lockable post box. there are so many different types to choose from. we wnt for this one because it is deeper than the average, so it dosnt get full with all the junk mail. it is not ornate like some, but nice and plain and looks good on the wall. the mail I kept nice and dry and secure. my dogs now rush to the door when they hear the postman and sit there looking very disappointed when nothing comes through the letterbox. this mail box is worth every penny and was really easy to put up, it comes with screws, rawplugs and a template. easy peesy!

Nice mailbox and good value, but poor quality lock which is a bad fit for the key.

Cannot comment on much as I sent this back. It was too big for what I needed.

I required a large mail box. One that accepted large envelopes or even packets. One that kept the mail dry. One that would last and last so a sturdy construction. I screwed this item to the wall using the supplied plugs and screws about 4 weeks ago. I now have dry mail, flat envelopes not folded over to fit the box and the postman thinks it's great and should be made compulsory. Great item.

Attractive and good value for money. Arrived exactly when atated and is sufficient size to take A4 envelopes and small packages. Hopefully it will be sturdy enough to last a while, but this is yet to be seen.

The post box is easy to install and holds a great deal of post. It is not placed in a position open to the elements so cannot comment on how weatherproof it is, but it is sturdily made so would not anticipate any problems. Would recommend this post box.

This mail box is complete rubbish. At £43 it is also expensive rubbish. It looks impressive, but in reality it is cheap and badly made. When withdrawn from the box it came in for the first time, the door fell off and also a length of wire which seems to have been part of it, fell off too. The metal bar which forms the top of the door frame and the bottom of the letter box aperture was only fixed on at one end hence the door fell off. Aside from being badly made and poor value it will offer little protection to any break in it is flimsy and not worth the money. Avoid this product.
