Fits well, locks easily and the cover helps to keep dirt out. Easy to install. I think it’s more of a deterrent than a fail safe. It would be hard to cut through easily but with the right hit at an angle it could break off easily.

Very pleased with purchase. Fits snugly/ no rattling, secure, perfect length, cap prevents grit from entering cylinder, decent finish and unit is priced right. Would strongly recommend wearing light gloves when installing around metal edges, bumpers, etc. Even when doing easiest of home chores, I wear safety glasses.

I really like this hitch lock. It is easy to use and has a few nice design touches like the rubber o ring washers and the rubber key cap. Good value for the money a quality product.

This gives me a lot more peace of mind. I’ve had the cotter pins work themselves out over long haul trips. For a few bucks I don't have to worry about my trailer coming off while going down the road

We read the reviews before we bought it and there were so many good reviews that we ignored the bad reviews that said it didn’t fit. I’m not sure why they are saying it doesn’t fit. We have a 2 inch receiver and it did fit. It is a little tricky. I can see how someone might think at first that it doesn’t fit but You don’t need to use all four washers and also you have to use the key to lock the end on it if you don’t do these two things I could see how someone might think that it is too small but it isn’t. It works perfectly. This was a very good buy in our opinion.

Exactly what I needed for my new 3-ball hitch on my new hitch receiver! Tight fit. The rubber o-rings to prevent squeaking is a great feature, but i couldn't fit all 4 on, I used 2 (1 on each side) or else the lock wouldn't fit in...
