The quality of this product is great - excellent wooden finish, paint holds up great, pieces are thick and sturdy. I like that the photo is printed on the board part of the puzzle so my 3 year old can match up the pictures and do this puzzle independently. The “gears” feature is an added sensory feature that he loves!

This puzzle is designed to be enjoyed on multiple levels, such as the counting and seek and find aspects. It’s durable and a quality product, as you would expect from a Melissa and Doug product. Both my 2 year old and my 9 year old like playing with it.

Melissa and Doug toys are so well made. This puzzle was unique in that it has gears that move. My 3 yr old grandson’s favorite puzzle.

My toddlers used this puzzle at the play room at Bible Study and were in love. It’s so cute and the gears make it so much more fun! We had to get it - and we got another similar one from Melissa and Doug as well and they play with them often!

Clever design and sturdy!

Durable, educational and cute my two year old plays with this puzzle often and loves when it is finished to spin the pool pieces. She needs help puting it together but is quickly getting the hang of it.

This puzzle is awesome for young children. The pieces are sturdy and durable. It is unique and that it features a gear component which makes it different from other puzzles. Assembling the gears in the puzzle though does prove to be a bit trickier but it is a good challenge. It just makes the puzzle a bit trickier for toddlers to do independently. All the images in the puzzle are of great quality and it looks very appealing.

I saw this puzzle and immediately had to have it for my kids. I homeschool, so anything with an extra sparkle of excitement to keep them engaged is something I’ll jump on for their education. We bought this one and the underwater/ocean variation, and the kids LOVE them. They are a great way to bring a plain jigsaw puzzle out of what some children might consider a mundane genre. I personally love jigsaws, but my daughter does not. This, however, is approved!
