Suitcase
Good quality. Wheels swivel well. We used it on vacation and it served our needs well.

Worth the purchase
Large/spacious and ideal for me because I could fit a lot into this suitcase. The wheels ensured a smooth rolling process, with a full suitcase, even on cobblestone roads. I have only used it on one trip (to and from), and based on this experience, I would recommend it. I also like the colours and types of the exterior/interior materials.

Very good quality!
I rarely make reviews but this luggage is very good quality! I travelled in 30 countries in a year, 20 flights, 15 trains and no damage!

Broken Within Two Uses
The luggage looks beautiful, but both suitcases I purchased broke within two uses (one on a flight, the other on a car trip for two days). One had a zipper on an outside pocket disappear and the other had a bumper pad fall off. There is no way to fly with the lower outside pocket hanging open I had my Samsonite for over 15 years and well over 100 uses and never had a problem. The only reason we replaced it was it was starting to look worn. Now I'm out almost $500 and am past the time to return. Never again.

Performance as expected; no complaints at all.
After a couple of international round trips with several connections, everything has been fine. Rugged and strong. I will recommend it. The interior is simple and well designed.

This bag is suitable for heavy, business travel unlike most others
I am a heavy business traveler. My last Ricardo lasted a full million miles until the handle would no longer go up when pressing the button and it was only a two wheel version. The little things are that you immediately notice when using a cheaper roll-on are annoying when you spend your days at airports. I used my wife's brand new Swiss Gear roller bag while I was shopping for a replacement. You quickly see why those are less expensive and not for business travel. The differences between the swiss gear and this Ricardo are that the Ricardo wheels roll much easier. The Swiss wants to have the back wheels pass the fronts or go at an angle, the Ricardo's go where you point them. The big annoyance with the Swiss gear was the handle riser is very flimsy and wobbly when the bag is full and the plastic handle feels like you have to baby it to not break it. That is when using the low setting so there is less leverage. the Ricardo aluminum riser is much sturdier and the handle itself is a bit more robust though with a full bag, the Ricardo plastic handle could be a little bit more robust. The Ricardo has a third setting for the aluminum riser to get it even lower for pushing on 4 wheels. I don't need the locking mechanism so I don't care about that, the zippers on this Ricardo are a little less robust than my million mile Ricardo and more robust than the Swiss Gear. Swiss gear zippers look like they won't last long for business travel but ok for once in a while travel. The outside matierial of this soft size Ricardo is not as robust as my million mile Ricardo. They are a completely different material. The Swiss gear material is more like my million mile Ricardo. The fact that there is a batter charging port for your phone is neither here nor there. I expect that I will always have my backpack and that possibly the roller bag may or may not get a forced gatecheck due to being on a regional jet and so I won't have that batter back up when I might need it anyway but always have my travel backpack.

4 wheel suitcase
I ordered this 2nd suitcase because there is a change I'll need two. I love my older one with 2 wheels and am keeping iit, but these 4 wheeled suitcases are so great and maneuver so much easier that I had to get a 2nd suitcase. I love it.
