This works exactly as I expected and serves the purpose I bought it for. My 57 lb. Collsky is high energy and pulls hard on my arm when walking her. She also runs fast and used to get yanked back when she hit the length of the tie-out cord we hooked her to. With this bungee leash/tie out extender, it has solved both problems. Now I don't have to worry about my dog injuring herself or me. It reduces the shock of being yanked for both of us. It makes it much more comfortable for me to walk her now. And even though she can't tell me that it feels better for her, I am sure that this extender is helping protect her from pain & discomfort as well. It's very well made and durable. I have been using it for about 5 months now and it's holding up well. The weight of it added to the leash feels comfortable for me. It's easy to hook onto the leash and the tie out as needed. Since I hook the extender to my dog's harness, it makes it easy to attach the tie out lead to the large heavy duty ring on the extender before disconnecting the leash I used to walk her to the tie out. It swivels easily when she runs in all directions on the tie out and securely holds my dog despite her pulling as hard as she can. I don't see any wear & tear on this extender or any signs of it coming apart even with aggressive use. I love the colors and reflectiveness of this product as well. For the price, I definitely recommend this if you have a medium to large dog that pulls against the leash or tie out lead.

I've been wanting to walk my dog handfree for a while because it is just more comfortable. I've had a handfree leash that I really like however the problem with it was just too short by the time I clipped into place around me and wasn't fair to my dog to have to be walking less than 1 foot away from me. Neither of us were comfortable on walks, that was until I got this extension leash and WOW has it changed our walks! What I love about the extension leash is that it has a handle for quickly pulling my dog back if needed or when we walk across the street or busy areas that I can easily keep her under control. Also it is a good safety handy in case something were to happen to my main leash I can still keep positive control of her without much trouble. I like the fact that the extension is a bungee after using it a couple times now, I was really hesitant about using a bungee leash extension because I've tried leashes with bungee functionality and they were just absolutely awful for both me and my dog as she's just pull hard and it was then drag both of us together. However with this bungee leash extension since my handfree leash is the primary leash part the bungee acts as a lead control for when my dog is walking giving her that extra bit of freedom to walk in front, however it also is taught enough that when she attempts to pull I can just stop in place and the extension leash will pull her back because of how heavy duty it is. She's quickly learned to not push and test maxing out the bungee extension because it is not fun for either us on our walks. Overall, really digging the Tuff Pupper extension leash and I'm really digging the brand overall for the different dog equipment that they offer. High quality that seems to be durable, functional and overall they offer a great lifetime warranty with no extra frills and also support donations to rescues and other dog related activities which is a big positive for me!

Works great for my English springer spaniel but kinda heavy as well.

The length, functionality, control, ease of use, & ease of walking make this leash extension high-quality.

Works as it should but is MUCH smaller than I had anticipated. I was able to connect this to a different leash to make it work but it is very small and not the full length leash that I was looking for.

This is a very good product. When my dog pulls it extends perfectly without pulling him back.

Great product, length is perfect can use alone to my dog close or attach to his leash. Much better control with this tension and comfortable for my Labrador.
