They Work Well But Are Of Questionable Quality
These dilators are really good for their intended use and the motorised rotating section does seem to help a lot with muscle relaxation and aiding insertion but there are a couple of major issues. Firstly I have had two sets of these so far, one of them lasted a few months before it let water into the charging hole whilst being cleaned under the tap, making the internals go rusty before something broke off inside and it was impossible to charge. It also made the prong of the charger go rusty rendering it useless to charge any of the other dilators without transferring rust into them too so I had to buy a new cable. I was gentle and careful washing them yet one still got water inside so clearly the 'self sealing' charge port doesn't seal that well. Given that these are being advertised as usable underwater this was very disappointing. The second set I had lasted less than a week before something came loose and started to rattle around inside the dilator. This is unacceptable on a set that costs over £100 so they went back. I'm now waiting for a 3rd set to arrive and if I encounter any issues I'll report them here and definitely won't be getting a 4th set in that case. Lastly, the set comes with a card allowing you to register your set for an extended 2 year warranty which I did and got an email confirmation for. Sounds good? I thought so, until I tried to claim on the warranty for one of the above problems by sending an email to their support department as advised in the warranty email. I didn't get even an acknowledgement let alone a reply, just completely ignored. It's a good job Amazon support was top notch and they refunded me without any fuss otherwise I'd be left with a set of very expensive broken dilators. Overall, I give these 5 stars for functionality as they really do work well, but 1 star each for the lack of durability so far and for the manufacturers customer service which appears to be non-existent.

Heads up, this is a long review, but I think most will find it informative and helpful. Let me start by saying, I've finally come to realize that sexual health is just as important as any other kind of health! Taking care of every part of your body is a big deal. I spent some quality time with this product before writing this review in order to give the best feedback because, let's be honest, shopping for stuff like this can feel pretty personal and a bit intimidating. Plus, there's a whole bunch of options out there, and it can be a bit overwhelming. Now, about the product itself. First off, the packaging is pretty nice, which I found reassuring, to be honest. The colors are calm, not too flashy. It's got this professional, yet kind of personal, high-end vibe going on, and they've paid attention to all the little details. I think the care they put into the packaging makes you feel more confident about the whole thing. And– the box is super discreet, so nobody's going to guess what's inside, especially if you've got a bustling household. When you open that box, it feels classy and neutral. Right away I got a calming vibe from the message on the top of the packaging 'Be well, again'. It seems like such a small thing, but most of us find this process intimidating and awkward. You know how some of these things can be all bright and in-your-face? Not these. The instruction booklet is straightforward and fancy enough without going overboard. The dilators themselves are securely packed and look pretty attractive. All of this together creates a sense of calm and relaxation, which is comforting when you're diving into something that can be stressful or overwhelming. About the dilators themselves... They're soft, sleek, and accessible. The smaller ones are just right if you're starting out and need to ease into it. If you find yourself hanging out with the small ones for a while, no biggie – stash the bigger ones somewhere else, out of sight (and out of mind) for a bit. Take your sweet time and go at your own pace. Starting is often the trickiest part… Pro tip: make sure to order water based lubricant when your order these, it’s a necessity. I like that they have a wide base, which makes it easy to hold onto and the whole process more comfortable. My only quibble is that I wish they were a little more flexible and bendy. When you move up to the medium-sized dilator, it brings a motorized pulsating action into the mix. This feature helps massage your tissues and gets the blood flow going, which is a good thing for your vaginal tissues. The massage has different speeds, so you can adjust it to your comfort level. You can definitely feel the movement and hear the sound, but I don’t find it uncomfortable or weird feeling. It's more of a gentle massage, not like a sex toy – although, I'd say playing around and embracing the pleasure factor can actually enhance the whole experience. The key here is making sure it doesn't feel like a chore. Plus, let's be real, plenty of sex toys have their own perks when it comes to sexual health. Okay, I’m going to share a bit of my own experience in case it helps anyone relate or feel more comfortable. I seriously wish I'd stumbled upon these years ago because it could've seriously changed the game for my health and happiness. First, after giving birth to my kiddos, I had some healing issues and ongoing pain that made sex painful. A pelvic floor therapist suggested dilators, but I had no clue what to look for and felt a bit intimidated, so I chickened out. Looking back, these could've made life so much better. Fast forward a decade, and I was dealing with menopause creeping in. Vaginal tissues get thin and dry, and it's crucial to keep them in good shape with some regular stimulation (yep, sex does the trick). But I went years without it, and that's where these dilators came to the rescue. Pro tip – make it enjoyable, folks. If it feels like a chore, it's hard to stick with it. Build it into your routine, find a quiet and relaxing moment, and if you can make it pleasurable, go for it! Maybe throw in a vibrator for some experimentation. Remember, we're dealing with a super sensitive and emotional part of our bodies, so let's honor and enjoy it. These dilators are a fantastic tool to improve your sexual health. Go for it!

The VWELL Inmotion Advanced Dilator set is great! The dilators have a smooth covering that makes them easier to use and can be less irritating to sensitive tissues. This set also offers a wide range of five sizes, allowing for progressions. The three largest dilators also have a unique motion setting that has the potential to desensitize painful tissue, causing less pain with use. Another thing I noticed with this company specifically, is the color scheme of their products. Dilator training can be intimidating to start. However, the cool/calming colors in this set are an additional aspect that I find most brands do not think about. I would not hesitate to recommend these dilators!

⭐️Pros - I haven’t seen anything else quite like it on the market. The rotating pellets offer a very different sensation than a smooth silicone or even a vibrating wand. - I was able to have successful intercourse with my husband for the FIRST TIME after using them… I’m not100% sure if I can attribute this to the product since I have been treating my pelvic floor conditions for about a year and was continuing to use other methods and products alongside these dilators… but it is worth noting since I had been having trouble making significant progress for about 6 months prior to getting the product. ⭐️Cons - the InMotion technology is only available in sizes 3, 4, and 5. The first two dilators that come with the set are just regular silicone. - The beading for the InMotion tech does not cover the entire “shaft” of the dilator, instead the tech is only on the first two inches or so. For someone like me where entry pain is a big hinderance to my progress, I had to adjust the dilator to different depths to get the technology to hit the right spots. - The technology is loud comparative to other pelvic products like vibrating wands. While discretion isn’t a huge concern for me, it could be a bigger concern for others. - In order to stabilize the technology, the dilators are heavier and stiffer than a regular silicone dilator, making them slightly less comfortable when fully inserted (the outside is still that soft, medical-grade silicone for comfortable insertion) - In my opinion, VWell hasn’t done enough to differentiate the product from their traditional dilator set. The dilators can be used without the InMotion tech turned on, so theoretically they would be suitable as a first-time dilator set in place of a traditional set. However, I’m not sure I would have thought the extra tech as worth it for a first time set (especially when the price of the InMotions are almost twice that of the traditional set from the same company), and I would be hesitant to buy an entire second set at that price point. ⭐️Not Exactly a Con, but Kind of Confused The InMotion’s marketing seems to be geared more towards an older demographic, emphasizing “rejuvenation”, as opposed to their traditional set that seems to be focused on “empowering” or “strengthening.” Nothing in the product details makes me think this technology would be beneficial exclusively to an older demographic, but since I’m not entirely sure what the technology is supposed to actually DO at a physiological level, it’s hard for me to really understand how useful they have been in my healing journey and for people with conditions similar to mine. Since the product doesn’t necessarily promise a different result than a regular dilator, it is hard to justify the technology’s (and resulting price increase’s) value.

These dilators were not only comfortable, but the size jump between them was perfect for sizing up and kept me from having to purchase several different separate items over the course of my training. Beyond that, I loved the powerful vibration options and the rounded ends kept them from being uncomfortable (or jamming against the cervix). Overall, this is a great option for someone looking to increase pelvic floor strength, and penetration capabilities. Also great for those who experience pain or discomfort. 10/10!

I'm a pelvic floor OT and I got these dilators to check them out for my clients. I love the option of the InMotion technology, since there isn't anything else I know of on the market that has a similar feature. Every person has different needs, preferences, and goals. I think these dilators fill a gap in a desire to have an option with a motion feature. It is different than typical vibration in that it is more of a movement massage. Movement is also involved in techniques of dilator progression, so I like that this is a hands off approach for movement. I'm looking forward to seeing how this helps my clients with numbness or needing more nerve desensitization, as vibration can often be a technique to help with this. I also like that these dilators could be used in sexual stimulation, as some patients enjoy eventually bringing dilators into more sexual play to help transition the muscle release into their functional goals. As others mentioned, they are more firm due to the technology in them, however the smaller two (which don't have the InMotion tech) are very soft and flexible. If you're seeking more flexibility and aren't as interested in the motion feature, then their full spectrum set may be a better fit. It is beneficial to use dilators under guidance of a pelvic floor therapist to ensure you are using them in a way that is graded appropriately to meet you where you are at, while also working productively towards your goals. It depends on the person on if these dilators are right for you but I love this option being on the market!
