cinius Professional kneeling ergonomic chair without back, in several colours

This is a great chair which works better than I could have hoped. For anyone suffering with a slipped disc - as I was - I would heartily recommend it. While recovering, I wasn't able to sit on a normal chair for more than 2 or 3 minutes without severe stiffening in my back. This chair enabled me to sit in comfort for 20-30 minutes without any problem at all. A word of warning though - it was so easy to sit, I probably spent longer on it than I should and my recovery took longer. It is very well made and attractive, solid but not too heavy to carry if need be, and takes up much less room than a traditional office chair. The castors make it easy to move around without feeling that you are sliding away from your desk (I used it at home on a carpeted floor and at work on a hard floor). In short, an excellent product for people with disc problems, though my partner is also completely happy using it even though her back is ok! We've ditched the executive leather office chair we used to have at the PC and will be using this from now on. Some questions in my mind before I bought it: Is it high enough for a tall person? Yes, plenty; I'm six feet two and I have it on the middle setting. Is it actually comfortable? Yes, much more so than you would expect, but don't sit on it for hours. Does it hurt your knees? Not mine, but my shins start to be a little uncomfortable after half an hour or so.

I was recommended to buy one of these for better posture and low back pain. The chair is beautifully made and sturdy, moves around easily and is fairly comfortable to sit on. My problem is being a tall guy over 6 feet it feels like i'm perched too high even on it's lowest setting. I can't sit in it for more than 20 minutes without abandoning and going back to my normal chair. I don't want to kill it too much as may people would get on with this and it's a perfectly well made high quality product. Just try one before you buy as mine is gathering dust in the office

Purchased for my better half & she loves it.. i checked a whole lot of other cheaper options before purchase & even got a chance to try out a metal frame one too. This definitely seems good quality. The frame is made of pine i think with very well defined curves & shapes that enhance the usage. For example due to the cutting, the chair can be lifted up by holding any part & it will not slide out & change the height setting. Overall from my opinion, the frame is the least important feature of such a chair. The most important being the cushions, which in this case are firm with a strong & comfortable cloth material. Great going !! The little base plate that's below the sitting cushion is made of plywood but looks mighty strong. The company Cinius appears to be italian based & the manufacture itself seems to be in taiwan. As per the box, the gross weight is 6.5kg incase someone needs that info for postal reasons :) It arrived quick & well packed. The best part is that, she mentions just how comfy it is everytime..sure makes my day...well worth the extra cost. Can recommend. edit update: many months later, its been used a lot, is still in perfect shape & as comfortable as can be..very happy, can definitely recommend this chair

I use this chair when working in my study at home and have found it very comfortable and good for my posture. Not 9 to 5 use by any means but I need to swivel to reach things when I am sitting on it. Have had the chair just over 3 years but in that time I have noticed increasing problems with the rear castors. On closer examination I see now the castor screw thread has completely stripped, the castors keep dropping off and the chair is unusable. I’ve never had to complain about a purchase before from Amazon but my husband says I should do so as the problem has been occurring over time and the chair should last longer than it has done. I cannot find how to make a complaint to the company Cinius but as the order was ‘fulfilled by Amazon’ , here we are... I’m hoping someone from either Cinius or Amazon will return to me and help me resolve the situation because I like my chair and would like to continue to use it as I have invested a good £ sum to do so. Only used for a day, so please take with a pinch.. I broadly agree with other reviews that, yes - it helps your posture, but you can't sit on it all day because.. 1. It's not comfortable enough and 2. The shins will get too painful from the pressure. I found that moving the chair closer to the desk (and tilting you upper body further back) does prolong your ability to sit as it reduces the pressure on the shins, and shifting your bum further back can also help, but like with most radical changes in seating there will be some degree of adjustment needed to adopt to this style. I certainly won't discard it and will persevere as my back and core muscles do feel improved - besides, there's nothing wrong with getting up and moving around several times..! It was very easy to assemble and looks great.. I accept that others will hate it which is fair enough - but it does help with the back (which is the reason i bought it) so overall it's a thumbs up from me..

The item is good and sturdy but for a chair that costs £124 I find it outrageous that the package had a massive hole in it when it was delivered (luckily no part seems to be damaged) and there are traces of glue all over the wood of the chair. Otherwise it works well (a bit of pressure on the shins but I will probably get used to it). I am 5'1 and I would say this chair should suit any petite person.

Zeer goede stoel, zo kan ik mijn rug zonder al te veel moeite recht houden. De verschillende standen zijn zeer handig, en het was eenvoudig om zelf te monteren.

Du sitter skönt med en rak rygg. Om du gillar att sitta lite hur som helst i stolen framför datorn, ska du inte vilja denna stol.

Ho ragionato molto e fatto molte ricerche su questo prodotto, risultato: potevo ragionare meno e comprarlo prima! Ottima qualità davvero, molto contenta di non aver comprato modelli più economici, bellissimi materiali, design semplice, funzionale e nel complesso robusta. Arrivato in perfetto orario e in perfette condizioni, facile e veloce da montare (basta avvitare i sedili e le ruote, quest'ultime volendo si possono non mettere e sostituire con dei feltri in dotazione per rendere la sedia più bassa e ferma). Comodissima e facile da chiudere e trasportare e la schiena ringrazia. Consigliata!

Super siège, à la fois design et confortable. Je peux de nouveau travailler sur mon ordi sans avoir mal au dos. Il est très facile à monter et les matériaux sont robustes, je suis ravie de mon achat.

Attractive design and seems to use good materials (so far). MAJOR drawback for me: This chair uses non-standard, screw-in castors. I had planned to replace the castors with roller-blade style for our hardwood floors, but that's not an option with the non-standard sockets in this chair. Also, while the peg system of adjustment is firm, it doesn't allow for small, incremental adjustments. Without the castors, my chair sits just a bit lower, or a bit higher than optimum and no way to get to the sweet spot. The pegs also have a tendency to snag the laces on my shoes creating a bit of a tripping hazard when leaving the chair.
