This DIY OEM back glass replacement was just what I needed after it broke when I dropped it without the case on. It came with all the tools needed for repair, except a hair dryer which was easy to find. It takes about half an hour tops, and looks original. Instead of bringing my phone to the repair shop to get the back glass fixed, just picking up a kit here was much better.

Some reviews on YouTube say that it is impossible to replace the back glass on your own, and some say that it will ruin your phone. I would say that is not true, you can do it, but it takes a lot of time, and patience, and is risky. A lot of times the original adhesive holding the back glass on is really strong, and doesn’t come off easily, even with heat. If you are really careful, and slowly chip the old glass away, while being extremely careful of the wires and connections by the charger end of the phone, and the wireless charger coil and magnets, then you can do it. You should buy one of those spring loaded glass breaking pens, that till help the process significantly, as you can break up the glass by the camera and not damage the phone. You will also want flat, front facing (so chisel like) exact blade to clean residue and chip glass. Once you install the back glass, you will notice the tolerance of the glass hole around he camera isn’t as tight as the original, so your phone will no longer be waterproof. But it looks and feels good. Just be patient, and be prepared to fail. Best of luck

The glass itself is great, wasn’t expecting it to have the Apple logo on the back, but it did! The process of taking the old back off is a PAIN, but the replacement went on perfectly

I spent almost 10 hours removing the original glass off my old phone and then put this replacement on. It appeared to fit perfectly. However, this glass just cracked down the entire length of the phone as i was putting a protective case on the phone. I wouldn’t call this extreme pressure in any way, shape or form, so it’s extremely disappointing that it would crack so easily. What do you expect with a glass replacement at this price point? I guess you get what you pay for. I’m disappointed this didn’t last longer than a couple days.

Kamera etwas zu groß ausgeschnitten aber schlimmer ist eher dass das Glas leider Nix aushält. Habe schon 2 Risse über die Nacht bekommen.

Seems to be perfect. No glue needed. Uses 3 M tape which is working so far.
