New Balance Mens 515 V1

PRO'sKiller design. "Moon" is a sweet color, and a bit of a throwback to 2001 space odyssey for me. The red accent around the "N" is like a retro red orange... Reminds me of Massimo Vignelli's "Heller" packaging design from the 60's WAY ahead of its time. Massimo Vignelli went on to design famous logos such as American Airlines, and most notably the NYC subway map and signs still hangig today.So in other words, they look like one of the most famous brand designers in the world designed these in the 60s and put them on the shelf. They look like what a future astronaut would wear to go jogging in.Fit perfect and are super comfy. Enough room to throw in an insole or two or to leave out and still feel great.Con'sThey get dirty FAST,.. but is it bad? I scotch guarded them and that didnt last long at all. That said, i knew they would show dirt since they are a medium light, almost skin-tone color. I'll hand clean them a bit, but really dont mind the dirt. Kind of gives a cool worn in look like you've been somewhere. I havent thrown them in the wash yet though, but when im sure when i do they will look almost good as new, just wish the toe part wasnt suede, as it tends to get a little beat up from even normal light use. I also find that if theyre dirty kind of gives them a more subtle look, like you dont care too much about your appearance and yet somehow you have a great understated timeless retro taste in shoes.

This shoe has the best designed support of any shoe I’ve ever used. It puts my foot on a neutral stance relieving stress from my ankles, knee and hips.It was not why I bought the shoe. It was not something I even knew needed fixing. Bought the shoe because it had a great retro vibe. But damn, this is miles beyond the comfort and quality of anything else I’ve worn.

The shoe is great! Looks great, very lightweight. I have to wear an AFO brace on my left foot and this was the only tennis shoe that looks good and works perfectly with my brace. I have a narrow foot so on my good foot it is loose but that’s not a concern. I needed a decent shoe for my brace to fit. If you have wide feet I think these would be a sure thing.Will definitely buy in other colors!!!

They are really nice but they are not extra wide like I order it, but they fit ok no perfectly, they still get a 4 starts cause they are comfortable, mind you these are not foam so read before you buy them.

I got my Dad another pair of this model in the grey and it’s so nice and perfect! He loves the fit especially as it doesn’t hit or rub his toes like other sneakers do. He loved it so much!

These shoes were just what I was looking for. I wanted something that I could wear to work or to school, do everything in, and be comfortable. I usually wear a size 14, but after reading the reviews I ordered a 15 and they fit like a dream. Broken in right out of the box, I can't take them out, they are so comfortable. I would say that my foot is normal width and these fit perfectly, not too narrow, not too wide. So comfortable. ORDER A SIZE UP.

This NB 515 V1 sneaker fit perfect!! They are well cushioned and soft and comfortable and the tongue is not pushing down on the top of my foot. I was very worried about this issue as I had bought a pair of NB 574 V2 just recently and it appears that there was a design flaw where the tongue was very thin and curves down on the sides and that part just presses against the top of my feet and hurts my foot after just a few minutes of wearing them. Everyone who bought the very same 574 V2 shoe had complained about that too in their review. This one here the tongue is pretty thick and well cushioned and does not push down on top of my feet. I highly recommend these and I, myself would buy some more later in a different color.

I just got these shoes and wore the around the house and they're your standard New Balance classics shoe (which is great). I bought these 515's to replace my older 574's which were awesome, but needed to be retired.However, my gripe is with the consistency in the width sizing. As you can see in the pictures comparing these new 515's, which are 9.5 4E, to my older 574's, which are 9.5 2E, you can clearly see that the 2E is wider than the 4E. I'm going to keep them because I got them for a little more than $30, but others that are looking for the wide sizes should know what to expect.They're great shoes and the best for wide feet, but I'm docking them 2 stars for not being able to have consistent sizing.Hope this helps!
