Easy to read, has a night light and thermometer
I don't get too excited about clocks, but I really like this one. Big numbers, battery operated (no cables!), and a thermometer. The feature I like best is the night light. It gives a mellow glow that doesn't light up the room but makes the numbers visible.

Unhappy with new Sharp alarm clock
(a) The alarm is not loud enough. This 'alarm' clock is almost useless if it can't be heard!! (b) The temperature seems to display in 'Celcius' whereas in the US, most temperature is displayed in Faranheit!

Excellent Quality
Very nice battery-operated clock with easy-to-read numbers. Very nice price too and easy to set up. Would highly recommend this clock for your desk, side table, or office.

Exactly What I Was Looking For
I am very happy with this clock. I was replacing a similar clock. This one has a bigger face which is perfect. It has all of the features I was looking for. It was very easy to set up. It took just a few minutes to have it set up and running.

Nice large readable screen.
I bought this to replace an older digital alarm clock that was almost impossible to read from any angle. Since I needed it primarily for the alarm, I put up with it for far too long. Finally I bought this Sharp, at a reasonable price, and I wonder why I waited so long. When the alarm goes off, it backlights briefly as well. The setup buttons on the back are virtually identical to the ones on the old no-name clock, which makes me think all these things come out of one factory in China. But at least there was no learning curve. ;-)

CLOCK OVERALL FINE. MY ISSUES ARE TJE NIGHT LIGHT IS TOO DIM TOREAD.
ALSO IF THE CLOCK ISN'T TILTED JUST RIGHT, THE NUMBERS FADE OUT. THEY DON'TGO OUT, SOMEHOW THE ANGLE OF THE CCLOCK MAKES THEM UNREADABLE. I GOTTHIS AS I WANTED A LIGHTED FACE AT NIGHT THAT I COULD READ. IF YOU PRESS THESNOOZE ALARM THE LIGHT COMES ON NICE AND BRIGHT, BUT IT HAS A SWITCH THATSAYS NIGHT LIGHT AND IT DOESN'T LIGHT UP THE SCREEN ENOUGH TO READ THE NUMBERS.GONNA TRY AND SUFFER THRU THIS CLOCK FOR AWHILE, WILL PROBABLY END UP FINDINGSOMETHING THAT IS BRIGHTER.

Easy to see at night..
This does not disappoint..easy to set up and easy to read..plus the cost was well within acceptable range..a welcome addition to the bedroom.
