Update: Melts Away Tough Dead Skin!
Update: I bought this product May 2018 and reviewed it. I completely forgot I had it. I kept doing foot soaks and trying to use things to get the tough skin off my feet. I was looking in my closet for foot peels and found my callous remover that I thought I no longer had. Came back on here to re-read the reviews because I forgot how to really use it. 1st it’s been nearly 3 years and this product is still useable. 2nd I got better results because I soaked my feet first (didn’t soak my feet in 2018) in hot water 15 minutes. Then put this on my heel and side of heel only, because that’s the only bad part of my feet. Because my skin on the heel is so hard I let this sit on my feet for 10 to 15 minutes. Then scraped the product off with this foot scraper thing I got. Rinsed my feet off and there was more skin to scrape off after rinsing my feet so I repeated that step then washed my feet. After about an hour I realized I STILL had hard dead skin. So I soaked my feet again, reapplied the callous remover. Let it sit there 10 minutes, scraped MORE dead skin then rinsed feet. They felt much better. This morning I repeated because my heels are so tough that I still had hard skin. The product works great. The problem is my feet :( anyway it took 3 times in 2 days but my feet feel great right now. Anyone who has seriously terribly hard skin on the heels of their feet can relate. You try a peel like baby foot that peels the whole foot good except your heels, and you feel kind of sad and disappointed. But I’m telling you ladies and guys, if your feet are really that bad, repeat those steps in a few days 3 to 4 times. Yes that’s time consuming but faster than the foot peels. I say do it 10 to 15 minutes 3 to 4 times in a few days because there is lye in this product. You have to be super careful because anyone back in the day remembering lye hair relaxers knows the dangers of lye. It will eat right through your skin! So be patient, take 2 days and I swear! Your feet will be soft like you’re a kid again a Lol. I hope this update helps! All those steps gave me better results than the first time I tried this in 2018. This is a really great product. I have really thick tough skin that builds up quickly on the heels of my feet. It is really annoying and uncomfortable. I use the foot peels from time to time such as baby foot which most of them work. However, you have to wait a week or longer for the acid to start to loosen the skin, and warm weather is now approaching. I don't want to have to walk around with sneakers on due to peeling skin. So I read all the reviews on this before buying. I was attracted to the fact that most of the reviewers state it only takes minutes for this product to work. First I got this callus remover in 2 days which was great. I immediately filled my foot bath with hot water to soak my feet for about 10 minutes. The directions say a few minutes but I was skeptical of only soaking my rough skinned feet for a few minutes. I then put on my gloves and applied this liquid to my feet. I like how it is sort of a thick gel like substance and not runny. Based on reviews I was a little worried about burning myself with an accidental spill. However, was pleased that it was a gel like non-runny consistency. I did wrap saran wrap carefully on my feet like they do in the nail salon. I accidentally got this liquid on my ankle and quickly used a wet cloth to wipe it off because it was burning my ankle! I didn't realize I had some sort of cut on my ankle. So be very careful when applying this callus remover! You can burn yourself if you have any cuts or if it gets on more thinner skin! I already had a wet wash cloth handy just in case this might happen, as I am kind of clumsy. I waited about 5 minutes then took my towel and started to rub the substance off of the heels of my feet and was shocked that this super thick hard skin on my heels was actually crumbling off my feet! I used the towel to rub the gel off both feet then washed them in water, and began to use a foot shaver and foot file to get the softened skin off. I wish I took some pics for you guys. Because for those of you out there suffering from tough skin on feet, we all rely on these reviews to not waste out money! But I can tell you right now, if you have tried the foot peels which take weeks to fully work, you will be blown away by this callus remover cream. My feet are not perfect because i have such thick skin on the bottom of my feet. But I know after the 2nd and 3rd application I will be in good shape. Actually the condition of my feet has improved by 90% today in a matter of minutes due to this product! My feet already feel much better and soothed now. I applied 100% African shea butter to my feet which is a very thick and effective natural moisturizer, for those of you who don't know. I order that on Amazon too. And wearing thick socks right now with no more discomfort. I will wait a week and reapply this callus remover to my feet a 2nd time and maybe every week or once or twice a month to help, along with soaking in a foot bath. For those of you who buy the one time use chemical peels, you will not be disappointed with this product. You will see you are saving money because you can purchase this and use many times, unlike those chemical foot peels!

I really love this product, but be careful chemical burns
Absolutely love this stuff. It works be careful. It can definitely burn your skin, but on calluses works well also I would advise covering your nails or something cause it can thin your nails and cause damage to your nails that might not be great for your body but overall works very well. I’ve run a lot so this took calluses right off. I’ve never felt my feet so smooth and all of these years, I just keep it moisturize and do it like once a week.

Professional well known nail industry product. This is all you need.
Got nasty crusty feet? This what you need. I am a former but still licensed nail tech for over 30 years, now RN for 20 years. Forget the foot peel packets. This is what you want. No waiting around for 2 weeks for peeling. This stuff does it in 10 minutes or less. Soak feet, apply, rinse, scrub with pumice or grater. Best at night then you can put ointment or Urea cream on with socks and sleep with them. Read the instructions! Repeat slowly depending on how bad it is. Works well on old feet. The feet get thick like that as we age because cell turnover slows. Be very careful with this stuff. Wear gloves and only apply where needed not all over your whole foot unless you know what you are doing. This is professional stuff. If you thought hmmmm will this remove any other dry areas or my strawberry legs? I am not going to tell you to use it for one minute max. This is a well known product in the nail industry for decades. They don't use it in the nowadays salons because then you won't need to go back. Get it. It's all about $$$$. This will last you 10 years. You don't need much.

Eh, made an improvement but not a miracle worker
My feet are always so embarrassingly disgusting. In the winter, the cracks are so deep that they bleed. I’ve tried so many things but the thing that works the best is 40% urea cream (bought on Amazon in a tub for $16). I figured I’d try out this gel in an effort to save money from the pedicure. I will admit, once it arrived, it took me a week to get the nerve to use it. The burn photos were pretty awful in the reviews. I’m happy to report I had no burning feeling anywhere. I first soaked my feet about 20 mins and then wore the gloves to apply the gel. It wasn’t clear how much to use. Perhaps next time I really glob it on. I was afraid of excess getting onto softer spots of my feet. The bottle says to leave it 5-10 mins but the directions in the package say 3-7. I started with 3, but when I tried to use the rasp, nothing came off so I let it sit another couple minutes until 5 mins. Perhaps next time I try the 7. After the time was up, I rinsed it off, dried my foot on a towel and got to work with the rasp. I already owned a rasp, also from Amazon, and this didn’t seem to be any different from the $10 one I had. I was a bit afraid of using too much pressure on the rasp due to other reviews but eventually had to put some more weight on it. It was like grating a block of Parmesan - hard enough to grate the cheese but not so hard it digs to the middle of the cheese block! Some dead skin definitely came off. I noticed best results where the calluses weren’t thick. In those spots, my feet look pretty decent. But in the nasty caverns of my heel, it still looks pretty gross. I’m going to try the whole process again in another few days. I’m not sure how quickly you should do it again; seems like it could be quite the chemical. I’m also going to sleep in socks with some urea cream tonight. Typically two consecutive nights of urea and my feet feel super soft. Perhaps this scrubbing will give it a head start. I’m not super convinced the gel here did too much work. Had I soaked my feet and did the rasp, I suspect my results may be similar. Also, this obviously isn’t a forever fix. It’s something you’d need to keep up with, much like sleeping with lotion and socks - and frankly, that’s my problem. It took about 30 mins from start to finish on this. I suppose the urea lotion is quicker. Eh. Worth a shot.

This is a great product. I decided to take a before and after photo comparison to make a review here. The before looks awful (sorry! LOL.) but the terrible texture was from the rasp that I was using to get rid of the hard skin after just soaking it in water. After 3 uses, my foot looks like on the after. There is still a bit of cracked skin but only cuz it's a bit hard for me to rasp on that area. I would totally recommend this product! It helps to soften the dry skin very well. How I use it is put the gel on the callous after soaking my feet, and leave it for 6-7 mins. Make sure you're using a glove and that you don't get the gel on other soft skin as it will sting! The sting feels a bit like a mild road rash. Just gently rinse it off if you get any on your soft skin when it starts stinging. Once the 7min is up, I rinse off the gel and then quickly rasp the dead skin. Work as quickly as possible as it becomes less effective after about 2-3 min as your skin starts drying.
