Nonghyup Pungsan Kimchi 500 g

Heavily fermented and went off with a bang when (very carefully) opened. Kitchen survived, but now the wife complains the kimchi is too far gone and the fridge stinks (even though we stored it inside two airtight containers). i know what she means, but i like older kimchi so it doesn't bother me. i had to fight for the second star.

Kimchee was very good only problem is when we need more, it is very hard to get, that's why we had 8 packets this time. but ver nice with any meal.

Got the kimchee on the Tuesday and put it in the cupboard for the weekend. On Thursday heard a strange noise From the cupboard and when I opened it the kimchee bag was swollen like a balloon. I immediately took it outside and put it in the bin. I then thought it may explode and got a knife to burst the bag open. When I burst the bag the smell was disgusting. Not at all like the kimchi I loved when I worked in South Korea. Would I buy this again? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

It's just oki. Not as good as the one I bought before. Tastes good but different kind of cabbage.

It actually has the right texture and tastes alright. I got a jar of kimchi before, and that turned out soft and mushy, so this is probably a safer bet.

Crunchy and spicy. I ate it with sausages in place of sauerkraut and much preferred it. Less acidic that 'kraut and with a nice chili kick, refreshing in winter.

This kimchee is just awful. Its not sliced cabbage as it is advertised rather than Ponytail Kimchi. It was really spicy and fermented and I was very unwell after eating it. As it was in date I blame it on my stomach but I would not buy it again. I love fresh kimchi but this stuff was just to fermented for my taste.

Delicious. its the real deal! much nicer than the tinned stuff.
