Worked for cab light wiring

These connectors are great for quick wiring jobs when you don’t want to mess with soldering. They snap together easily and hold wires snugly as long as you’re working within the right gauge. I used them on some low-voltage projects and they saved a lot of time.That said, they’re not the strongest option out there. For automotive or anything that sees vibration, I’d probably go with something more heavy-duty. A few of them also cracked when I applied extra pressure, so the quality control isn’t perfect.Still, for the price and the quantity, they’re handy to have in the toolbox for light to medium-duty projects.

Needed these for my truck shop

This item is very cheap and it comes with a lot, so you shouldn't expect anything of high quality. It looks like the mold they use to create these is cheap, as most of the pieces have plastic obstructing the center. It's a little difficult to bust out the plastic without breaking the entire piece, but still possible.

these work great. i use them to tap into taillight wires. They make it very easy and look much cleaner then manually stripping the wires, connecting them, and then wrapping with electrical tape.

First of all, I am all for splicing, soldering and heat shrinking connections where I am able. I just did an alarm install on a car and did as many soldered splices as I could, but there are just some areas where I had no choice but to use these quick splices - some due to location with absolutely no room to get a soldering iron in or some wires that were thick gauge or ones I couldn't cut down for certain reasons. Nonetheless, these were perfect and the install went fast. The only complaint I have about these is how difficult it is to separate the two halves in order to get the wire down the one side, I had to pry it open a little with a screwdriver. Another one the blade bent when going to make the splice but I think I had the wrong angle on the tool I was using because that was the only one that bent. Overall, I will use these again in other upcoming projects.
