We moved into an older home with sliding doors. The doors had no handles and I kept squeezing my fingers into the small groove to open the door. This handle was perfect and worked as described. I did follow the suggestions in the previous reviews and used the existing screws. Just to make sure I kept the locking part balanced I installed the top screw and then the bottom screw. Now it’s large, sturdy and easy to open and close

After replacing the existing, wobbly wooden door pull with another wooden door pull that started wobbling within 2 years, a patio door specialist advised I replace them with metal handles because the screw holes on the back of the wooden ones eventually strip and the entire handle and lock come loose. We replaced one with a thin metal pull, but it is very uncomfortable in the hand. Because of the thicker shape, this product, is the most comfortable door pull, and a great value. I had a problem eyeballing if the screw-to-screw measurement was 6 1/2 or 6 5/8, but I purchased this one anyways and it fit fine.

Installed in 2 minutes over existing hardware. Included were two different sizes of bolts - the smaller worked for me. Seems sturdy and the design matches the surrounding door.The only packaging was the shipping bag and a small bag for the bolts. No excessive packaging/waste was noticeable & appreciated.
