The book itself is very good but came without any packing whatsoever--just in an Amazon plastic bag. It had been dropped or banged against something hard and sharp so the front cover was damaged at one spot; there was a corresponding tear in the plastic bag where the book was damaged. I am satisfied with the book so am not returning it; I will repair it and cover the tear with a sticker or some tape.

The book is great... every content timeline is meticulously made. However, the book hard cover at the back was damaged. I did not want to return it but sellers should be penalized by Amazon for such activities.

Book's hardcover damaged & the refund for return of the book is even less than the half of the price of the book. First happened in my AMAZON life.

What a fantastic book this is. I have a very inquisitive 7yr old granddaughter who is older than her years. She is constantly asking questions about all sorts of things so I wanted to get her books that would last her a few years that will also help her with her school projects and beyond. This book is very informative has lots and lots of colour glossy pictures. The quality of the book construction and pages is second to none, it is thick and heavy so the quality is excellent. This book would make a fantastic gifts for anyone with questions about history or for children who just want to learn. I would definitely recommend this book its great value and great quality.
