Q: When the timer switches on the light goes on but there is no power getting to the load terminals?

Have you wired the positive supply to positive terminal and switch terminal. You have to do this if you are powering a 230v mains light. If you are wiring the timer as a swirch wire controller then you just power the positive and negative and the switch connectors. Also ensure that you programme settings do not conflict with each other. Hope this helps.

When you program the timer you choose how long it is on and how long it is off. So leave it on for a long time and switch it off for short time.

The Programmable Timer Relay Switch deserves a 5 star rating in itself, but I've marked it down for poor translation from Chinese to English which is not uncommon. Once I sussed out how to set it up - present day and time and the actual programming steps it works as intended and keeps time perfectly.Note: should you go back into the programme and do some time alterations for example, it's easy to overlook that the AUTO display has not come back on, especially if you use the Manual switch as well. If not displayed, just press the Manual switch once or twice until AUTO is displayed - job done.
