Q: How do I open the top? I pulled the cap off. The tip sealed. I can't get a small pin down through it. Before I rate this a 1I'd like to try it first.

I am not sure but I do know with Loctite brand you pull at the bottom of the white tip, it has a flange, it moves about 1/4 of an ince and opes up for flow of the product. You put it back down or just thread the cap back in place and it seals back up. I hope this works for you

Q: Is this good for bolts on gym equipment mostly m 12 bolts and will it loosen if you need to take bolt out.

The red is permanent. It would not be good as you would not be able to loosen the bolts. Try looking at the blue thread locker. It’s supposed to loosen with hand tools.
